The exposure is fantastic – This is the 2nd boat I have sold on BoatPoint. Interestingly both boats have been sold into Victoria, some one thousand kilometres from where I live. The advertising exposure that BoatPoint brings to your Boat is fantastic.

Best Way To Buy/Sell A Boat – Have bought my last three boats using Boatpoint and found it the best place to go when in the market to buy. Naturally sold my last boat using the webpage and sold within weeks of advertising, reinforcing may views that boatpoint is the way to go when buying or selling.

Well done boatpoint! – Took a few weeks but I got the price I wanted. Got a few people who offered silly prices but that is to be expected. Lots of calls, had quite a few inspections, weeded out those just expecting a steal. I had a good product and expected a good price so I was happy to wait until I got the price I wanted. Would use boatpoint again if required. Access to people looking for boats

A good selling experience – I advertised my boat for sale on www.boatpoint.com.au and achieved a successful sale within about 2-3 weeks. I took notice of the advice/ selling tips on the web site of boatpoint.com.au in setting up my advt. My boat was priced at just under $40,000 and it was a quality product suited to a discerning buyer. With the boatpoint web site I paid an… Read more

advertising fee which I think was around $160 and this allowed me to insert upto 15 photos (I didn't need that many but I think the maximum allowable for the price of the advt was 15) and also a thorough description of the boat and its accessories. I paid an extra $20 for 'Privacy Protect' which shielded my direct contact details from potential buyers by using an intermediate phone number so that calls were automatically diverted to me without revealing my number. I think the same concept worked too with email responses to the advt. This system shielded me from one attempted fraud/scam so I am pleased I used it. In summary my advt was browsed by over 10,000 readers in just over 2 weeks, and there was over 600 detailed reviews by potential buyers. During the period of sale I was able to adjust the advt including price and description and I did edit it for change several times. You have to do this because the enquirers raise issues you did not think about in framing the advt. The advt remains 'live' until the boat is sold and then you remove it The boat sold in a very smooth sale. My experience with www.boatpoint.com.au was excellent. A safe (if you follow the advice for safe selling from boatpoint) smooth way of reaching a large number of potential buyers. Also the advt remains 'live' until the boat is sold. This was my first and only experience with selling a boat via www.boatpoint.com.au and I have no negatives.
