Not worth the cost :(

The site was ok to list on. But not worth the money. However I got ZERO enquiries after a week. Facebook marketplace I had serious buyers coming from the moment I listed it and I sold it on there within 3 days of listing. Show details

Extremely overpriced and useless

Save your money and just use FB Marketplace or Gumtree. I spent $180 to advertise my boat, not a single enquiry in 2 weeks. My (FREE) FB Marketplace and Gumtree ads had heaps of enquiries and after 2 weeks sold for asking price via the FB ad. Same thing happened last time I sold a car using carsales. People use the free sites to look just as much. This mob are extremely overpriced for the useless service they offer. Show details

Stick with the best in the business!

I tried Facebook Marketplace on the recommendation of a friend and found it to be a horrible experience - I deleted the ad and put the boat, had three genuine enquiries in the first 48 hours and sold it today. A great result - thanks!! Show details

Be patient and get good results

The only reason is that the buyer has a lot of sales to go through and this takes time and as you know there are a lot of scammers or just nuisence lookers. However if they leave their phone number, I call them to ensure a honest buyer. This worked for me with a good sale and nice buyers. Show details

Easy & Efficient

The add was very easy to create & manage. Genuine interest from buyers was quickly gained which lead to a sale in a reasonable time frame. Very good platform for both buyers & sellers. Show details ·  1

Very Poor

It clearly has lost the ability to return meaningful results for our searches. I am looking for Sailing boats and it shows pages of advertisements from Quintrex. They are not sailing boats, just their flagship fishing aluminium trailer motorboats. Show details

Sold, with with what I wanted

I think this is where most people look. Plenty of enquireries even during the downturn and got within the range I wanted.

A great match for seller and buyer - Thanks boatsales!

The add generated a fantastic response, we sold at the highest version of "Market Value" we could determine, well over our committee's "reserve price". At the same time, the buyer had been searching for a boat like this with this fit out and history for 12 months and they are delighted - boatsales matched up a willing buyer and willing seller perfectly and the process was so easy and efficient. Show details ·  1
