Love it! – I was lucky enough to win a Boba 3G after having friends rave about theirs. It was super comfortable for me and baby. I usually wore the carrier on my front as I had difficulties putting my baby on the back without assistance. It was easy to adjust between myself and my husband and I really loved all the extra little features that most other carriers didn't include.

Hurts under the arms – I bought this carrier after reading reviews of different carriers. This site had really good reviews on the Boba. I wish I liked this carrier, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I found the straps that goes under my arms seems to dig and hurt after wearing for a short period. I contacted the Boba rep in Australia after hearing from a… Read more

baby wearing rep that this was a common issue with the Boba due to the straps being sewn too high up.

I tried to adjust the straps with the assistance of the Boba rep (via email and personally, by going to a baby wearing expo) with no luck, and at the end she told me that maybe that carrier wasn't for me, or to try carrying my son on the back instead. I waited for my son to hit the 10 kgs (just recently) as recommended by the carriers instructions. Still no luck. The straps still hurts.

I didn't find the rep rude, she was a nice lady, but unable to solve the problem and therefore I feel like I spent my money on a carrier that hurts when I could have spent it on a better one for me.

For the people doing their research before buying a carrier: my advice would be try different ones before making a decision (I bought mine online straight from Boba so didn't have a chance to try before buying it, there were no Boba suppliers around my area). Beautiful print, handbag strap. Uncomfortable for me. The strap under the arm seems to dig no matter how much I adjust it. Not even with the help of a Boba rep.

Excellent baby carrier – I used to use a Hug-a-bub which was great if you weren't in a hurry, and then my baby grew to big for it. I bought a Boba 3G after watching some YouTube reviews from the USA and thinking long and hard whether to get this or the Ergobaby. So glad I bought the Boba! My baby loves it and even smiles when he sees me pick it up. When he's tired and… Read more

cranky it is the only way to handle him. I put him in and we go for a walk, or go to the shops... It's very comfortable to wear and easy to adjust. I love that it comes with the footrests even though my baby is too small for them just yet. Also love the versatility of the 3G version. We use it at least once each day. Highly recommend. Versatility, comfort, stylish, easily adjustable. Good customer service - mine was delivered without foot straps and when I contacted them I received the straps just two days later! Could use a safety around the waist strap. The clip is huge and solid but I do worry every now and then - a safety loop a la the Ergobaby wouldn't go astray. Also the optional hood is great and whilst you can pack it into the pocket on the top it can be a little bulky when packed. I just leave it off as my boy is still a little short to be needing the hood.

Best soft structured baby carrier – Boba 3G carrier is by far the best carrier I ever worn. My baby has reflux and the carrier is the only place she would sleep in. comparing this carrier with other carriers, the proximity between my body and my baby girl seems to be the key in calming her. Thankfully this carrier is very comfortable and adds zero strain to my back. Everyday, I… Read more

would carry her for 6 hours straight and I don't think I could do anything without bringing her with me. Very thankful of my selection as it has everything, no additional newborn inserts required and comes with foot stirrups which I have not seen in other carriers. Loving this purchase and would recommend this product to any mum or dad especially with reflux or colicky babies. Easy to assemble, all-in-one carrier and adds no strain to my back.

Bad quality & awful customer service – I bought my carrier from a WAHM online shop. When I put it on I knew straight away something was wrong with it - it pinched horribly under one arm and really hurt after awhile. When I measured both straps I found out the buckle had been sewn on lower on one side (all the stitching looks pretty wonky - makes you wonder where it's made!) Both the… Read more

retailer I bought it from and Boba have been horrible to deal with. All up a really disappointing buy - and as if it wasn't expensive enough, I now have to pay more to either return the item, or pay someone else to repair it. Definitely not worth the money!

Poorly made/faulty item, rude customer service, expensive

Use it pretty much every day! – Bought this after having a sleepy wrap. It is so much easier to use and doesn't hurt the back. I absolutely love it and so does my 8 week old boy! I use it almost everyday. It is adjustable so everyone else in my family can use it too. Great for trips to the shops and so handy for kindy drop offs. Easy to use, comfortable, bubs loves it, easily… Read more

adjustable to all sizes Can't really fault it.... material get's a bit of fluff stuck to it but no big deal. Little expensive but so worth it

Proud babywearing Mom – Amazing ssc. I'm petite, only 5' and I can comfortably carry my 8 month old son in the carrier with no sore back or aches later. My baby loves being in the carrier and falls asleep faster in the carrier than anywhere else and stays asleep through loud sounds and noise. So easy to put on....sleep hood...is great. Haven't used the leg support yet… Read more

but it's good too. I used the boby wrap from birth to 6 months and then moved on to the ssc. It does get a bit sweaty in hot and humid weather but no complaints as its so comfortable for baby, mum and dad too. Well made, good design and quality. Am so glad I found it and be able to afford it! Love babywearing and Boba is best! Comfortable, fits all sizes....a lot of thought has gone into its design...doesn't cause aches for carrier and baby loves it! More suitable for older baby rather than newborns. Boba wrap is better for newborns. Still can't seem to figure out how to breastfeed while carrying baby in ssc. A little warm in hot weather and not machine washable...instructions say spot clean only. But I did put it in the machine and dried it in the sun and it came out fine.

Love, love love my Boba 3G! – I wanted another carrier for my second child as he was quite unsettled as a newborn so I was carrying him every day. I had an Ergobaby which I loved but I thought I'd do some research and try something different. All the reviews I'd read about the Boba 3G were overwhelmingly positive so I decided to give it a go. I have been using it every day… Read more

since he was about 4 months old and I can now confidently say I love it!

While the Boba 3G and Ergobaby are the same fundamental design but there are differences that (I think) make the Boba superior. Most importantly I find it more comfy (and I am carrying my 10.7kg boy in this thing every day without back pain), this is because the straps are really easy to adjust once you have it on so you can get a great fit.

It also has a little clip on each shoulder that you can attach around your handbag/shoulder bag strap so the bag doesn't slip off all the time. The back of the baby seat part is nice and high on the Boba which I find supports baby's head really well when he is sleeping.

You also don't need an additional insert to use the Boba for newborns so it is less bulky and one less thing to buy (note: I didn't get to use the Boba with my baby as a newborn). The Boba 3G is generally lighter and less bulky than the Ergobaby. It also comes in a great range of patterns or plain colours.

I really love this carrier. I liken it to putting on my favourite pair of comfy jeans, it just fits so perfectly every time and I seriously don't feel the weight of my baby much at all. I can probably wear him for up to 2 hours without any discomfort at all, after about 2 hours I do start to get a bit tired and sore on the upper back.

I have recently started carrying him on my back too, which has been great. Took a little practice to get him on there by myself but now it is easy and very comfortable. On occasion I have also carried my 2.5 year old (14kg) in it which was no problem (although I don't think I'd be wanting to do it for too long!)

I have recommended this carrier to all the mum's in my mothers group! Super comfy, really easy to adjust while wearing it so you get a great fit, great designs Maybe one extra pocket to carry keys & wallet would be useful, but otherwise it is perfect!

Best baby buy! – Love this carrier! Would recommend this carrier to every one. I wear my 15 month old all day without any discomfort. Fantastic feature the bag strap is super handy stops my bag from falling off my shoulder. this carrier also fits my husband really well too. My daughter loves to be worn in this carrier and falls asleep in it very easy.

Invaluable, comfortable & versatile – I did alot of research before i bought this carrier & I'm so glad i did. It's been invaluable with my a baby, who had trouble sleeping initially. I used it from when he was very little, following the instructions on adjusting for a newborn, and I use it daily now he's a bit older, it's very comfortable & easy to get him in & out of. It's often… Read more

Best carrier ever, you'll never go without – I have used the Boba Carrier almost daily for 3 years now, with three different children at different ages/weights and it has become our favourite way of transport. The quality is excellent (we have the all organic version), the service is great and baby is comfortable and so is mum. Even when our children got heavier (up to 16kg) I could still… Read more

carry them with ease. We actually have two Boba's and both daddy and mummy use the carrier, front and back. The only downside is that you can only use it from 7kg and up (I believe) but it still very much worth the investment. Perfect for bush walks, shopping centres, parks and shows as baby is close by and it takes up hardly any space. I would buy the Boba carrier again without thinking twice about it. For our babies who suffered from reflux the Boba was ideal, they could be upright and close to mummy all day long. Quality, price, materials, comfort, durability Not suitable for tiny newborns, only from 7kg+

Wonderful!! – I made a pre-order for the Boba 3G Carrier, upon learning that it was new in Australia and was arriving soon. I have since received it and tried it on with my 9 month old, and boy am I hooked! It is SUPER comfy. Having tried the Ergo and the Baby Bjorn, the Boba is definitely my favourite. It is very well padded, and I don't feel any strain on… Read more

my back at all (I have a lower back problem). My chunk of a baby is also very comfortable in it, and has no qualms on riding around with me all day, despite being a very wriggly and active 9 month old. She's also fallen asleep very easily in it, and when she does, I put the sleeping hood on and put it over her, which gives very good support amazingly, since she tends to sleep with her head dangling sideways alot. With the hood, I can have her sleeping mostly upright and close to my chest, without worrying that she'll have a neck strain!

And my latest discovery - is how WONDERFUL back carrying is!! It was a little tricky to manouvere at first, but once we both got the hang of it, it was a dream! Any mum of a 9 month old who's crawling, would find that she can't get much done, except for chasing the baby around the house. With the back carry, I can clean, cook, do the laundry etc, with her safely on my back. It's awesome. It has saved me lots of time and being able to bond with little miss as well - fabulous.

Hubby wears it without much problems as well, it is really easy to put on and take off, and it is comfortable for us both. Pockets for storage - we just go out with the carrier nowadays, no need for any bags or anything.

Can't praise it enough! We love this carrier even more than our Stokke pram - everytime we put her in the pram, she'd wail wanting to be carried! The 3G has solved all these problems, being able to hold little miss close, without having a back or arm strain. Love it, would highly recommend it. Comfortable, Inexpensive, Easy to Use, One Size Fits all, Baby loves it!!
