By about 5kg I did find I personally wanted to transition to the connect plus for a little more structure and support in place of the wrap however intend to keep the wrap carrier should we have another child for the first few weeks!

the house regularly and when going out of the house, it’s way easier than taking the pram which my newborn hates. She sleeps straight away in it, much like at home when she’s on my chest. Learning to use it properly took about three tries before it became really easy to do without looking at the instructions, which thankfully are very conveniently located with pictures on the inside of one of the straps.

I was concerned that it may be too hot for the Australian December summer but with the baby in limited clothing, I’ve had no issues with overheating her with the cool fabric. Looking forward to upgrading to the bigger version once she outgrows this one, thanks Redsbaby!

Overrated, more hype than substance – I really don’t understand why this wrap is so highly reviewed. I also use the Mobi Classic Wrap, which is a basic wrap. I bought this one for my husband to use, because I expected it to be easier to get on, but there really isn’t that much difference. Also, I bought the Mobi wrap at Baby Bunting, who are happy to help me fit it in store. For the Redsbaby, everything is online. If I hadn’t already used the Mobi, I wouldn’t have known what to do.

The wrap itself is basically fine, but I’m giving it a one-star review because I feel lied to. Redsbaby have a great marketing machine; their website is designed so that I couldn’t find basic information about the wrap such as the weight limits until I had waded through a lot of pretty pictures and clicked the “Buy” button. And now I’ve just discovered the reason they have so many reviews on this site is because they offer a chance at a $500 gift card for every review posted.

I couldn’t possibly recommend this wrap to anyone, I would suggest going to a shop with some friendly staff who will let you try a couple options if you want a wrap. There are other “pre-tied” wraps with buckles if that’s what you’re looking for, don’t believe the hype.

require lots of ties and wrapping. Whereas with the Connect Wrap I found it very simple and easy to set up. It also doesn't require lots of ties and wrapping to hold baby in nice and secure. I also like how it has the adjustable back straps that make it that bit more secure than other Wraps. I enjoyed being able to watch demo videos to set up the Wrap as well. The sleek design makes the Wrap very stylish for EVERY occasion. I really really love how it comes in plastic free packaging as well. I cannot wait to buy many more Reds baby products including upgrading to the Connect Plus carrier when baby out grows the Connect Wrap.

The Best Hybrid Carrier Out There – Such an essential item. We already had the Redsbaby Connect Plus (which we love) but I wanted one that was a bit lighter and more for around the house. Not bad, good quality fabric, but not easy to use – Not easy to use at all when compared to what's shown on the website. back and shoulders, and feeling very secure. At $79 AUD, was also very competitively priced compared to other carriers on the market. Have recommended to many friends and other mums, and will be my first recommendation to any new mummas.

So soft but strong – This is a great baby carrier. Its really soft so it doesnt agitate me or baby's skin, and it is quite light and flexible so basically i forget i am wearing it. It is still really sturdy tho, and doesnt over-stretch. Highly recommend! Show details
