I have been stopped and asked so many times asking where my carrier is from as my baby always looks like she is in the perfect position. Apart from being so easy to put , it's also very aesthetic!
We've been using the Joey baby carrier for several weeks now, and it's quickly become one of our favourite baby purchases. The quality is excellent, the materials feel soft and premium, and it's comfortable for both baby and the wearer, even during longer walks. Our little one settles in happily, and having both hands free has made everyday tasks… Read more
so much easier. The carrier is supportive, easy to adjust, and looks great too. We especially appreciate how intuitive it is to put on and how secure it feels.
Highly recommend this carrier to any new parents looking for something comfortable, practical, and stylish. It's been a real game-changer for our family!
The easiest carrier to use. I love the feature of having the straps easy to adjust by yourself while wearing. Easy to swap between my partner and I because of how easy it is to adjust. The fabric feels so soft and the bib cover is a hit in our house. Very parent friendly with being machine washable. Show details

We bought the Babybee Joey carrier together with Babybee Juno pram for our first baby, and so far I absolutely love the quality and functionality. The fabric feels soft and comfortable rather than rough, which is really important for both me and my little one. It’s also very easy to use, even as first-time parents and I appreciate that I can… Read more
simply put it in the washing machine whenever it needs a clean. Overall, it feels well-made, practical, and designed with everyday use in mind.
The Babybee Joey has been an absolute standout for us, particularly when it comes to comfort and thoughtful design. The ergonomic structure is exceptional you can genuinely feel the difference in how well it supports both baby and parent. From a back safety perspective, it’s easily one of the best on the market. incredibly well balanced, taking pressure off the shoulders and lower back, which makes longer carries feel effortless.
What’s impressed me most is how naturally it positions baby in a safe, supported posture while still feeling snug and secure. It clearly prioritises healthy hip and spine alignment without compromising on comfort.
And the ultimate test? Baby absolutely loves it. The moment we pop them in, they settle almost instantly and are often asleep within minutes. It’s become our go-to for everything from quick errands to longer outings a rare combination of practicality, comfort, and genuinely thoughtful design.
Honestly! I love it!! I’ve tried several baby carriers and this was the only one that suited me; it ticks all the boxes I was hoping for – easy to put on, good back support, I don’t have to stretch right round to my back to fasten it, I just do it at my sides, and my baby has loved it too since he was 4 months old and he’s now 13 months! in summer and in winter! Is perfect
The only thing I’d improve is the storage bag it comes with – make it from a flexible material!
Extremely comfortable and feels very safe and secure Will be well used Photo using kitchen roll as a demo Show details
I love the Babybee Joey carrier! Its very easy to put on by myself, My baby is 2 months old and I’ve been using it since he was 2 weeks old. It’s perfect for all weather—on a warm hike I removed the layer and the mesh was very breathable, and when it got cold in the shade I just put the layer back on. The extra attachments are so handy, especially… Read more
the zip pocket where I can keep my phone and keys. My baby sleeps really well in it, and it’s the best carrier I’ve used so far. Highly recommend!
Hello im back, my baby is 5.5 months now and he weighs close to 9kg and he still fits in the baby carrier its so handy when i need to do a quick walk to the supermarkets. We are still going strong and highly suggest this awesome baby carrier as its a life saver!
I love this carrier! It is so easy to use and adjust. I love that you can open it up to the mesh underneath for warmer weather and it is so easy to clean, I spilt sauce on it the same week I bought it and I was so worried but it came straight out. All the extra accessories are great like the pouch for my phone and keys and the dribble bib is a must have with my bubba because she dribbles non stop!! Show details
We recently purchased a baby carrier from Babybee and unfortunately had a concerning experience with the product. While the carrier initially seemed well-designed, we found that it made our child’s legs quite restrictive during use. After a short period, his legs began to turn purple, which was very worrying and clearly not safe or comfortable… Read more
for him. Because of this, we had to stop using the carrier immediately.
That said, I do want to acknowledge Babybee’s customer service. After we provided feedback, their team responded promptly and professionally. They were understanding of the issue and offered us the option to return the product for inspection and receive a full refund.
Although the product did not work for us, we appreciate the company’s willingness to address the situation and support their customers.
I would recommend that parents carefully monitor their baby’s comfort and circulation when using this carrier.

As a new parent, I spent way too long researching baby carriers — I wanted something that was comfortable for both me and my baby, easy to put on without a second person, and safe for my little one’s hips. After trying a few options, I finally decided on the Babybee Joey, and honestly, it’s been one of my best baby purchases so far. From the first… Read more
try, I noticed how comfortable it was. The waistband sits snugly on my hips and takes most of the weight, so even after long walks, my shoulders don’t ache. The padding is generous without feeling bulky, and the straps adjust really easily — my partner and I can swap it over in seconds.
The mesh panel has been a lifesaver in warmer weather. On hot days, I just unzip it to let the air flow through, and my baby stays cool and happy. The built-in hood is great too — it works as a sunshade or a bit of extra head support when my baby nods off.
One of my favourite details is the little storage pocket. It’s big enough for my phone, keys, and a dummy, which means I can pop out without needing the whole nappy bag. It’s those small design touches that make it so practical for daily use. The carrier also feels really secure — my baby sits in a nice, natural “M” position, and everything about the design feels well-thought-out. It’s also endorsed by the Australian Babywearing Association, which gave me that extra peace of mind about safety. If I had to mention a downside, it’s probably that the fabric feels a bit more structured than a wrap-style carrier, especially for a tiny newborn. It softens up a little with use, but it’s not as “snuggly” as a fabric wrap. That said, my baby just hit around 4 kg and it fits beautifully on her.
Overall, I’d say the Babybee Joey strikes an ideal balance between comfort, support, and ease of use. It’s become one of those “grab-and-go” essential and has been a real lifesaver.
⭐ Rating: 9/10 — practical, comfortable, and stylish, with only minor room for improvement

My husband and I absolutely loved the Joey. We originally had purchased a different carrier from another brand and when bub was here and we tried it on, it didn’t feel secure. Just then babybee had announced they came out with their own carrier. You best believe I sold my other carrier as fast as I could to buy the Joey! It was reasonably priced… Read more
in comparison to some of the other brands we checked out. We already have their pram so we knew we could expect good quality. The Joey features many wonderful key design functions like the breathable mesh net at the front for warmer days, the neck support that you can clip up or down, even the small side pouch to store your belongings.
What we love most is that bub doesn’t feel like she’s going to fall out. It’s the most secure with the harness design that allows for the distribution of the weight properly. I also love that it’s not Velcro but with clips just to provide the additional security. Although it can be a bit tricky to put on by yourself, it just takes a bit of getting used to.
It’s honestly the one baby purchase I don’t regret and I’ve had so many compliments when worn. My husband wore her in it during a wedding for 2+hrs while she slept!
My only critic would be that I wish it came with a bag to store it in.
I initially gave this 5 stars but v I’ve had to go and edit this. This was great as forward facing- no issues. But when we faced my son forward we noticed his legs turning blue after a few minutes. We tried so many ways to reposition but nothing helped. I quickly took him out and later noticed a rash on his legs. My husband is a doctor and… Read more
commented that it looked like the rash some people got from tourniquets being too tight or left on too long. Then I realised it was from the carrier. The rash lasted a few days. I tried again a few days later hoping it was a one off. No such luck this immediately started to happen again, despite multiple attempts to reposition and adjust the carrier. I’ve since tried a friends carrier the Omni 360 with no issues so it’s obviously the carrier. I contacted babybee and we have been going back and forth with no resolution from babybee. I’ve sent a video of my son in the carrier which I really didn’t want to do. But even then they are now asking for photos of my son’s rash on his legs. I didn’t think to take any when the rash occurred and I would never intentionally subject him to harm, so now I’m stuck. I’ve only had 4/5 months of use now I can’t use the carrier. My next step is to submit a review with the ACCC.

Initially I was torn between the ergo omni delux and the babybee carrier. The deciding factor for me was that Babybee was an Aussie brand, but I'm so glad I went with the Joey. The colour and fabric are lovely, and it's so easy to fit one handed. My baby is almost 4 months old now, and I have used this carrier, no lie, every day since it arrived. I love it! Show details
I love the Joey, it’s really comfortable to wear. Easy enough to put on by yourself. And I love the mesh vent and the storage bag feature! My only regret is buying it before the new colors were released! :( Show details
I have 6 kids and have bought just as many baby carriers over the years. This one is easily the best baby carrier I’ve ever had. So comfortable for both me and my newborn. She fits in the carrier so securely and safely - it’s been a total game changer during this time that contact naps are a must but my hands are needed for so many other kids. Highly recommend.
Beautiful baby carrier. There are so many on the market it's very hard to choose. We found a lot of carriers were more focused around aesthetics over the actual safety and comfort of the baby but the Joey nails both of these things. It's super practical, designed with the safety of bubs as priority and is also nice to look at, we couldn't be happier.
Generally really comfortable for the parent but we have found our little one doesn’t like it as much as our other carrier. Doesn’t fall asleep in it etc, we think it will be better for her when she is older! Good structure though wonder if it is a bit firm for her back. Show details
Very comfortable for both mum and bub. Super simple to use and doesn't become uncomfortable to wear over time. This is the third carrier I have tried and we both love it!
I got this for a 2 week trip to Perth but I have been using it for walking the dog and even housework on those days he doesn’t want to be put down. Very. Comfortable to wear, it distributes his weight really well. My bubs is currently 7.4kg and I can easily walk around the block wearing him in the harness, he loves it too. as well. Only negative thing is I can never fit it back in the bag it comes with! They need to make it bigger or get ride of it so you can utilise the pocket fully.

Really lightweight and super easy to put on. I was looking for a carrier that I could put on by myself and quickly - to help with childcare drop off for my toddler, and the Joey carrier has delivered! I love the mesh for hotter days and the oat colour is stunning! Highly recommend! Show details
Very nice quality, the over the head flap can be a bit finicky once the baby is in place and if you don’t pre loosen the straps it can be hard to reach them. Otherwise once in place it is a nice product!
Really happy with the Babybee Joey carrier. It’s comfortable for both me and the baby, with good support and easy adjustments. The material feels high quality and breathable, which makes longer use much easier. Super practical for everyday outings and keeps the baby secure and settled. Overall, a reliable and well-designed carrier that I’d definitely recommend.
The Babybee Joey carrier is comfy and easy to use. Bonus: I now have two free hands to do important things… like scroll my phone and leave product reviews while standing in the kitchen. Show details
I love this carrier, it’s so easy to put on and get bun in and secure quickly. When in you can’t feel the weight of bub, but can feel that she is in there snug. Great supportive carrier. With a summer baby who runs warm, we love the mesh back to keep her cool. My only dislike is the bottom waist band is a stiff material and it rubs on her newborn legs.
Best carrier! I went through a few carriers that didnt work for me until I found the Joey Carrier!
