Joke of a machine and so is the customer service – useless product useless customer service KIE-RAN from customer service in NZ is super unhelpful and so is BOSCH. I thought it was Bosch so must be good only to be told they don't have parts for my vacuum after 2.5 years. cant supply parts to general public. They want me to send my machine into their service center to replace a battery ffs. I can… Read more
do it but no I have to pay someone from their service team to do it as they are Bosch appliances trained. I hope they have Bosch appliance trained employees sitting in china too where they get manufactured. what an absolute joke. machine in the BIN. I am surprised they are able to run business in such manner where everyone wants to be eco friendly but these companies making it so hard for people to get them repaired. so Glad my main Vacuum Sebo has been great. never missed a beat and these pile of junk after spending so much money cant even last the distance even when used minute or 2 a day and never charged unless battery was drained. Time to buy a manual sweeper to replace the stick
The best cordless vacuum around! – This is amazing! It’s completely replaced my regular vacuum! It’s compact, suction is out of this world! Easy to empty with washable filters etc. Carpet, hard floors no problem! LOVE! Show details · 2
It is perfect, it's my go to all the time – You go from carpet to tiles with no fuss, it really sucks up the dirt out of carpet and glides over the tiles no fuss at all I love it Show details · 1
Powerful Vacuum – We purchased the Bosch Athlet Runtime Plus for our apartment which is predominantly carpet and have been extremely impressed with its power and usability. The alert light for cleaning the filter is also really helpful. Also works well on tiles and applying different components for cleaning skirting boards and hard to reach places. Compact and durable. Exceeded expectations – Used on carpet, tiles & wooden floors.Great suction, easy to manoeuvre , operate & empty. Used for family with birman cats and we all have long hair...absolutely fantastic cleaner and the kids love to use it. Tried the dyson in the shop to compare and the bosch athlet beat it hands down. Love it! Show details · 1

I am very impressed! I use it everyday! For quick vaccum and for the whole house, and kids vaccum their own rooms too!! I use it for the car as it transforms into a smaller size!… Read more · 2
It lasts longer then any Dyson! Filter can be washed easily. I definitely recommend it. One of the Best vaccums out there!!
Great product, not so great battery life – Only had a short while. Will update if anything changes. Great performer on the carpet and hard floor. Effortless to use and does a great job. Disappointed I didn't have something like this years ago when kids were younger. It does seem to do as good a job as my high rated power vacuum. Vacuum stopped working after exactly 20 minutes. I use it… Read more · 1
on maximum power and frankly, why wouldn't I used the highest power as that does the best job. I usually finish most of the house in 20 minutes if I do a quick run though. Bosch says it should work for up to 75 minutes on level 1.
The rotating brushes usually stop rolling after each vacuum due to hairs. This not an issue as Bosch has designed roller to easily pop out and have a slit along its length to run a knife through to remove.
I find the attachments hard to detach and you have to have a bit of strength to pull them apart.
I talked Harvey Norman down to $520 for this product and it is currently advertised for $579. THe same Vacuum without attachments and lower battery life sells for $348. I bought this one so I could vacuum car with it.
I was offered 4-year replacement warranty for $89 but I decided that the Australian consumer law would cover this for free.
Good points:
Cleaning carpet and hard floors. Picks up solids and dust.
Easy to maneuver.
Comes with attachment to clean car or furnisher.
Bad points:
Battery life poor.
Hard to undo attachments.
Cheap charger.
Doesn't pick up bits on edges of the wall.
2 broken handles – Aa much as I love this product we've had our issues..! Within a week of purchase, thin black strip on head broke, didn't effect performance much so continued using. . Then switch refused to work, filter case cracked.. Next head broke..! Then handle, now handle again. .!! So far Bosch have been fantastic to deal Show details · 1
Handy vacuum – I'm very happy with it's performance and it has great suction. It's fairly light, but possibly could be a bit lighter. I wouldn't say it was quiet, but it's not deafening. It's fairly easy to maneuver, but depends on the surface I'm cleaning. I use it on vinyl, carpet, tiles and mats and I have a large area to clean. Show details · 1
Happy wit this machine – Having used this machine for almost a year every day due to three dogs in the house, I can report that it works very well. It works well on carpet and hard floors. The suction is good at every setting, it is light and easy to use. We recommend this to anybody for floor use only. There are no attachments which is a disadvantage. September… Read more · 1
5th 2018 Update: Very happy with this Vacuum
We have used this vacuum everyday for about 18 months on carpet and hard floors because we have three dogs in the house. It performs perfectly. We need to empty the dust weekly and clean the filters every fortnight. We need to clean the brushes of hair every two weeks.
