Great machine issues with setting temp. 4 years old – Have a similar problem with the control panel when changing water temp down it will change the delay start option. After turning it off then on after a few minutes most times will fix this issues, however it is annoying. I see that another person has had a similar issues but last i read they were still trying to get it fixed. Eisenmedany solutions?  Show details ·  1

Broken Paddle – Within months one of the paddles inside the drum broke off. The unit had to be changed over. Water was spilt from the old unit over my floors and over a rug during the removal along with scratches to the timer floor. The washing machine also pools water after each wash in the plastic seal by the door and wets clothing as it’s pulled out. The child lock setting is inefficient.  Show details

Great washing machine – Cleans really well, great spin options (1400 RPM does make more creases, it's a trade-off) I do 1000 to 1200 mostly. Really good wash options. Not really what I would call an 8KG washer, it only does 8KG on the "kids" wash and this takes almost 3 hours! So most washes are 5-6KG. pretty quick. It was a toss-up between Bosch and LG, Bosch was the only company that followed up on Product Review. I have had it for over one year now. So happy to write a good review, thanks Bosch!

Thumping noises during spin at 9 months old – Seems awfully soon for the washing machine to be playing up. I phoned Bosch customer support to be told that if the failure is deemed to not be a "manufacturing defect" I may be liable for the call out fee. Not happy with that advice at all. things I hadn't expected, and were less than ideal are that the machine often takes a lot longer than the initial estimated time to actually complete the wash and very few cycles support the headline 8kg load size.

High Quality Washing Machine – I purchased this washing machine due to Bosch having reputation for quality products, and I have not been disappointed. Various wash modes, and no issues in terms of cleanliness of clothes. Some wear on clothes, but I wouldn't say it's worse than any other machine I've used. I wash my vibrams and they come out spotless. My old washer didn't get them completely clean.

Washes are consistently good. Just chuck it on the 45 minute setting and away you go

washing machine! We have been hand washing our clothes and i can't take it anymore! Their after sales support is the worst I've ever experienced. I will never buy from Bosch ever again.

Great washing machine – We have had this machine for a month and we're very happy with it. It seems to wash our clothes cleaner than our old top loader, it is quiet, and there are ample choices in cycles. Leaks water seal damaged after 3 months use – I purchased this machine as I thought Bosch was good quality. I'm annoyed as it is located at Mount Buller and will be really difficult to get repaired. It's been used for 10 weekends and lucky to have done 20 cycles. I'm very surprised to already have a problem. I have had other front load washers with no seal issue. Such a great washing machine – I've owned a top-loader for many years, so I'm really surprised at how easy this top loader is on my clothes. I can already see my clothes will last much longer. It's quiet and easy to use and I can fit more clothes in. The only slight issue is that the cycle takes longer than my old top loader, but I'll never go back!  Show reply

Only recently purchased but so far it seems to be an excellent machine – It has a good range of programs and the ones I have used so far work very well. The facility to modify the programs with the speed perfect and eco perfect buttons as well as changing the spin and rinse cycles is excellent. useful 60 degree C Allergy Plus program that gets items hygienically clean which I need to use for washing re-usable wound dressings.

Love it – Being on tank water, had to change from top loader and using way to much water. Did lots and lots of research and decided to go with this machine. in in the early hours ready for when I get up. It is very quiet which is a bonus for a washing machine.

Really like the 15 and 30min cycle for those couple of items you need done quickly (like school shirts) and water usage is a plus in my books. Love that I can select all the different water and time options in each cycle.

If you are looking for a soiled, heavy duty (I wash 2 - 3 loads per day) front loader then this is the machine for you.

Love it... Best thing Bosch has made.

concerns – I have a problem with the harshness of the towels that appear stiff and almost matted in comparison to my previous machine. Also cannot replace front cover for the drainage area. My favourite features are the quietness of the machine and the variety of programmes available, I would like to have feedback on both issues please.
