Terrible customer service, avoid these people – We have 2 bosh ovens. After a self clean cycle oven glass cracked. It was hell trying to speak with them. Love this oven – Easy to use; quick heating; plenty of preset options and easy to set custom settings; even baking at all oven levels using fan bake. Absolutely no complaints and would recommend as a non expensive all rounder without the bells and whistles of steam cooking etc. Show details ·  1

Quiet, but worst designed oven, uneven cooking hard to clean – Good little oven because It is soooo quiet. Preheats quickly and bakes ok. Trays are good size and clean easily. Oven gets VERY steamy and sometimes there is water dripping from the bottom shelf into the door hinge after the cook. usually uneven for cookies on the trays or cakes....one side gets cooked more. The on/off button is extremely sensitive and when I am cooking at the stove above the oven, oven turns on by my clothing or movements. Oven seems to steam up a lot when cooking roast vegetables especially Pumpkin. You really have to be extremely careful to not get steam burned when opening the door of the oven. Allow the steam to pour out before sticking your face closer to see items in oven. It asks to be eco cleaned too often. For that you have to take out the side rails which is tedious and very hard. To fit rails back is real pain and impossible to do even after multiple attempts. Even electrician who installed struggled and even scratched surface trying. Hate eco cleaning which oven requests almost monthly. Worst design. Would NOT recommend.

Very Good So Far – Did recent kitchen renovation so farewelled 37 year old oven (still in good working order!) However am enjoying fast heating of this new oven, though told not to expect same lifespan as old one. Would prefer 2 racks to be supplied rather than only one. Seems easy to clean, though access to top surface above griller would be impossible to do. Pity it wasn't hinged to drop down as some other brands do.  Show details ·  1

Great oven although a bit slow at top/bottom heating mode – Great product overall. Working well and nicely designed. The only thing which could have been better is the power at the top/bottom heating mode - it's way lower than one at 4D mode. So it takes longer to cook same meals. Not as advertised. Doesn't have door lock feature! – I bought this model specifically for its door lock feature as I have young kid. However, the oven does not have the Door lock feature as advertised in The Bosch Kitchen Appliances Catalogue - June 2018 edition (http://v3au.zone-secure.net/drive/5424/815432/#page=84). If I activate the Childproof lock, only the control panel is locked, the door can still be opened. When I go to Basic Setting, the 'Childproof Lock' option, where I'm supposed to be able to choose between Control only or Door & Control Lock is not there. I can only see 13 options as opposed to 14 in the manual.

I have tried to contact Bosch's customer support via phone and email several times but all I got is 'if you can't see it in the settings, then it's not available on this model'. They're not willing to check further with product demonstrator, or the technical division, or even apologise!

Great Oven, easy to use and full of programs – I recommend this oven. Very quiet, and my favorite feature is the quick heating, it heats so fast it's unreal. The oven is quiet and well constructed. The soft close door is fantastic. My unit came with the rotary dial full of gunk and dust, I could not rotate the dial I had to use a crazy pressure to rotate it, after calling Bosch they advised me to clean the dial.  Show details ·  1

Great value & easy to use – Used my new oven this week - cooked beautifully, and the independent timer worked well too. Good oven, but controls are a bit confusing – I've had this oven for about 6 months now, and Im happy with how it cooks my food. through cooking, from top/bottom heating to the super charged heating setting, and even though i followed the instructions on the LED display, it didn't seem to change to the new cooking function. I had to attempt to change the setting a few times before the oven changed over to a different cooking setting. However, all my previous ovens have been controlled using analogue dial buttons. This is my first where all the controls are electronic, so it might be a matter of getting use to newer technology. Overall, Im happy with the purchase, and would consider purchasing Bosch again.

ways to cook. It feels like a professional oven in that there are many cooking options from slices, cakes, pizzas, meat, reheating, etc. I was and am still quite overwhelmed with what to use; but we tend to stick with a couple of features. Overall happy with the purchase and great value for money.

process. You also need to press the start button in order to change the settings - very much like hitting the enter key on a computer. But, overall, I am very happy. I think that these issues are minor as ovens these days are so much more sophisticated. I would have preferred to give a 4.5 out of 5 as I see this as a minor issue.

Great value especially with cashback – Definitely a step up from the F&P, Chef etc. ovens. We bought the Bosch Series 8 as it was really great value with the $200 cashback. It is made in Germany, unlike the cheaper Bosch unit (around $700) which I am told, is made in Greece. Easy to use buttons, heats evenly and most importantly, looks good. great oven – We didn't need a new oven but when we came across this one we just needed to upgrade. We love it, no regrets. It cooks great and it is nice and quiet, We really like the rapid pre-heat and the four way cooking style. obviously would factor in buying any bosch products again as not to sure what customer support would be like.. and then intern resorts to social media and reviews like this which can only hurt companies.

only cooking a few meals - the Pizza function is superb! Some relearning of old temp settings is needed (I didn't get a great surface brown on pasta bake as I used 'top and bottom' setting with temp too low), but am continuing to experiment. In general - even if I'm choosing the wrong mode and/or temp the oven's vastly better temp stability is making meals even *look* better than results from my old oven (e.g Pizza top beautifully golden and I can taste the individual flavours whereas my old oven tended to burn the crust and muddy the flavours).

Some further notes:

- 4D hot air (i.e fan bake) is amazingly quiet

- extremely well insulated, so need to adjust *down* temps from previous/older ovens

- options/ temp setting via finger spinning ring really nice way set up cooking
