Great Oven Cooks Evenly for the Chef! – We have had this oven for over 4 years and has been great!! we are just replacing simply because we are changing our kitchen design and need a fitted oven. We have never had a problem and cooks beautifully another fine Bosch product. In fact when we were looking at a replacement it was hard to find something of equal quality, alot of competing products of less known brands were very tinny and light. Shocking vibration noise - avoid – A decent looking oven, and the gas cooktop works OK, but the fan inside vibrates/resonates terribly. Bad news if you're in an open plan house. We had a Bosch service man come around and his answer was "it's normal" - although he was very keen to get away to his next job and didn't stay to actually listen long enough for the really bad vibrations to come and go. Perhaps that's another reason to avoid Bosch - patchy after-sales service.

Looks great but is rubbish – Looks like quality and the hob works well. The oven takes forever to warm up because the door doesn't stay closed. There is no spring tension and no way to adjust it. Part of the problem is a flimsy door that distorts in heat. The internet is covered with people with the same problem on lots of different models however Bosch refuse to acknowledge there is a problem. I'll never buy another Bosch product.

Oven functions poorly – I do a lot of cooking using the oven. We moved into a new house that has this model oven. Can't have a deep tray on each rack, as then the one tray would be too close to the top element.

It doesn't grill or bake properly. Pork crackling now comes out rubbery or burnt.

Making chicken nibbles and chips at the same time is impossible, everything just ends up soggy.

Very dissapointed with the oven.

The gas hob does work well.

cheep by design and function

2. Poor quality fittings and very thin sheets of stainless steel are used in making product and this makes it questionable for durability and longevity

3. Cooking gas elements are thin cheep and nasty the ceramic ignition points are smaller thinner and more porous texture which could lead to more possibility of cracks and breaks once heated over time

4. Cast iron rack over elements is smaller thinner and looks cheap and makes the entire oven look like it is only worth $1000 rather than $2400 that the good guys are selling them for at present

5. this model is lightweight. it is not a solid construction It is not well designed for cooking by an individual who loves to cook and over all structure and size is smaller. it is not a stand out piece of equipment like Bosch's earlier models. If your passion is cooking you will not like this model because the size and shape and inner capacity is much smaller than you would expect from Bosch. It does not take a rocket scientist to see they cut corners on quality

6. the ovens functions are very basic nothing special and they deleted some functions from earlier models much to my disgust

Overall bosch took a beautiful professional looking quality product that they made a year ago model

BOSCH - HSB745256A - 90CM that was a great cooker with great features and many extras that was spacious and lovely to look at and any cooking enthusiast would love and turned it into a cheap and nasty product. The pride and quality of workmanship that Bosch is known for is gone with this model.

They discontinued the previous model at a guess because it was more expensive and because it had problems with its hinges as many have noted in review sites including this one

Instead of fixing the design fault with the hinges from the previous model and retaining the design features and qualities of that model that worked and were fantastic they scripted the model bare.yes they made the oven door great but destroyed the oven in the process .Customer service is terrible with bosch they are too concerned about ticking boxes than actually talking and listening to customers and rectifying problems when the need arises.

I had to threaten Bosch with the ACCC before I actually spoke to someone with some common sense but I have to say dealing with Bosch after sales is a nightmare . Want quality reliability in a 90cm look elsewhere. I am very disappointed as I only bought Bosch appliances and now I have to look elsewhere maybe falcon? a bit of warning if Bosch says they have to replace your oven make sure you get a product of same value because with me they wanted to replace a oven that I paid 4490 for a year ago with a oven that sells for 2400 and is cheap nasty and a far inferior product and the staff tried to do it on the sly maybe thinking I would not notice or complain. Bosch used to scream quality with excellent support after market now it's nothing like that.

I would hate to be an aged person who had to deal with Bosch customer service for service as they are not pleasant do not return calls or emails unless you call over 10 times and threaten to call ACCC and further to tha tcustomer service does not exist if your in country areas

Final comment this product is over priced for being what it is and that being most likely a rebadged oven from a different manufacturing partner under same umbrella as product specs and design are identical and this oven comes from same place in Italy as another oven manufacturer / distributer

Bad quality and most disappointing very bad customer service after market very disappointed with Bosch they used to have great products and their service was fabulous not now and that is sad they lost a very loyal customer The way the door closes in this model is great improvement the senior officer I am dealing with now is knowledgeable pleasant and seems to want to solve issues Is inferior product made and looks cheep and nasty with basic features
