Excellent – I bought this product due to it brand name. I have many BOSCH tools and love them. I have owned this drill for 3 years now without a problem. It has had many hours of use on different materials. The pros out way the cons and this is deserving of a five star rating. Strong and reliable!!! Perfect drill for everyday use. Good range in speed settings. Two way you can hold it with the rear of the drill allowing you to give good downward pressure when required. No problems with the keyless chuck, but other people have noted issues in their reviews. Not cordless, this I found to be a real pain. Hammer drill not strong enough to do anything major. Depth gauge has bent over time.

Good – Does a good job, especially on wood. Feels good. Handy carry case. I expect to be using this drill in twenty years time, as long as my original 2 speed B&W. Good price, around $149 AU. I expect Bosch to deliver. I buy a variety of mainly woodworking tools, some cheap, but I always spend extra on what I regard as a good drill! Variable speed. The chuckless key I feel should be left to battery drills. If you aren't careful, you can spin the skin off your hand, tightening a drill - manufacturers please take note. Comes with a pack of several masonry (huh!) drill bits, why not wood or steel? Surely for a drill of this size, masonry is last on the list.
