Pathetic battery life – This gift had 2 batteries that each took 4 or more hours to charge. Batteries last a maximum of 10 minutes, but the drill does drill. Replacement batteries cost almost as much as the drill did, saying to me, that Bosch were probably more interested in making money out of the batteries than in selling quality product. Show details

Very poor drill – Batteries charge forever and last 5 to 10 minuets and always dead when i need to use it, the drill is totally useless, i bought it to replace a cheap drill that had problems charging after 10 yrs, but it still out does this machine don't buy this drill and buy something better, wish i had.  Show details

Battery life an issue – As an active DIY who does jobs in fits and spurts the battery doesn't stand up over time. It takes a long time to charge and when it has been charged it can't hold it for more than 5-10 minutes of intermittent use. I am currently looking for a replacement battery that appears to cost more than the drill itself

Top Drill! Just goes on and on and on – this is the perfect drill around the home. the battery just goes on and on and on. have only charged it once sitting getting it a month ago. bunnings also sell an aeg brand as it took me almost 3 visits to decide on a drill. the guy in the tool shop recommended it but they funny thing is that it was recommended every time i asked about a drill. is… Read more

it a case that these guys are paid commission for selling this brand as apparently only bunnings stock this products so must be exclusive to them. the trigger felt a bit flimsy but their 7 piece tool set seemed like great value but i ended up paying a bit extra for the bosch wowzers it goes well.

Amazing – I have had a few amateur line drills and this is the best, even compared to the new bosch with the lion batteries. I bought it almost 8 years ago, and only now the batteries have started dying! I have a few other bosch cordless drills but this one can really drill as it has the speed. I use it for wood, metal, and even with masonry drills for… Read more

cement/tiles.

Now days you can get lion batteries much cheaper, and being that the battery is lighter can get higher voltage and still have a light piece of equipment in your hand. Very fast, good for drilling Nothing really, could have been more powerful but the benefit of 12v is that it's light

Tough little drill – Bought 4 or 5 years ago and used regularly since. I've really mistreated it but it had kept going. It has a hand-tightening chuck which was OK for a long time, but recently every drill tends to slip, and I have to keep tightening the chuck. I think the metal finger grips in teh chuck have worn smooth, so wont hold. This problem is now really… Read more ·  1

upsets me now, I cant drill any hole in metal (even with new drills) without the drill bit catching in the job and slipping in the chuck. Other than that the batteries are still OK, but dont hold as much charge as they used to. Time to update. 5 years of good service is pretty good.

Great cheap drill – I've had my drill for 4+ years and bought it for $100. Its been a great drill for the home handy man. For the bigger jobs you would need a 240V hammer drill. I've screwed into hardwood, screwed down decking into hardwood etc and the drill has never let me down. The battery charger smoked on me but the drill and batteries are still good. The… Read more

charger sells for about $60 however you can buy the PSR14-2 for $99 and it has exactly the same model charger. The charger suits both 12V & 14V PSR drills. Now i have two good drills and four good batteries Decent power, reasonable weight, two speed range settings, 21 torque settings, great drill for the price. Nothing

Excellent – I have GMC's, Ozito's and black and decker and this drill beats them all for under a $100 bucks. Plenty of grunt, I even used friends $189 18v bosch green and it didn't do as well. I use this as a second drill as I am a handyman. and this is the only drill in 3 years that hasn't let me down. For $99 bucks there is nothing I dont like. It doesn't charge as fast as my $600 panasonic. Unfair comparison.

Good – Im an Australian sparky and have found these drills to be fantastic. For general tasks there well adapted to trade work and take a decent bit of punishment. One of the guys from work has had one for about 2 years now and its shown no signs of decay unlike alot of our other drills that start to show there wear. The batteries are however are… Read more

becomeing less reliable. For the time and price however after 2 years the battery life has been ample. The chuck size is the major downfall in my opinion as its not able to really handle much more then a driver bit. Anything that needs to be screwed up ands its a great addition to the tool kit but if something requires a hole saw then forget it. This drill has no problems driveing a screw through wood.

The drill is too light for say plumbers but for gyprockers and to some degree sparkys its good. For $100 you cant really go wrong. Iv used the 14v bosch and the difference in tourque well there isnt much in it(27nm of tourque for the 12v and 30 for the 14). The chuck size on the 14v bosch is larger which is a factor in my opinion.

Overall an excelent drill for its price, just make sure what you want to use it for will be good with the chuck Cheap, Powerful, robust and Lightweight Small chuck size
