Expensive item to have failed – Mower will sometimes not start or stops during use. On/off switch replaced by repair shop....no need... switch was good. Battery in good condition and charging successfully and making good contact. Strongly suspect the heavy duty flat connector to the motor under the electronics module, but seem seated firmly. Base of electronics module has 3 motor rotation detect sensors... are these functioning properly? Relay in electronic module can be heard to click but again is it actually switching power to the motor? The electronic module would be too costly to replace just to see... and the motor is a special phase rotation field winding with no brush gear so difficult to test. Has anyone else found further information on what appears to be quite a common problem. Thank you

Good Mower but Battery Questionable – I bought our mower 9 months ago. I did my homework and read the customer reviews which appeared 50/50 in their opinions (like/dislike), the main complaint seemed to be the battery/charger. My dad always used Bosch power tools as they were a good, quality brand so I went ahead and bought one. The mower worked great - cut the grass as good as any petrol mower, was quiet and lightweight. Then I noticed the battery would go flat faster and faster until it didn't charge at all. I've since had it repaired under warranty (Bosch replaced the battery and charger). It's charging better than ever before so I suspect the battery or charger was faulty from day one. Overall a good product if your charger works.

Great mower but it didn't go the distance – I had a BR 34LI for just about 15mths. I like that its light and fast to move. It wasn't so great when I let the grass get long, or if it was wet. At the 11 month mark, it started to cut out. I took it back to Bunnings and waited 2 weeks to be told nothing was wrong. It was fine for another 1 month and then again started to cut out, and refuse to restart for long periods. I thought it was overheating but discovered that it would restart only when I applied downwards pressure on the battery. Eventually, even that stopped working. Light and easy to use. Service department wasn't very thorough in my opinion

Bunnings are the worst company in the world when it comes to customer service, I will never shop there again...

Downward pressure on the battery would suggest there is a continuity problem between the terminal and the plates of the battery. I would suggest tying another battery to see if that works..

I agree about Bunnings customer service - my Masport mower broke down after about 3 uses - took two weeks to repair and broke down again after one use - Bunnings wanted to repair again - I wanted my money back - they blamed me for using the wrong petrol (which I hadn't), putting in too much oil (oil was put in by the repairer), failing to change the spark plug (which didn't need changing) - I told them to get the manager after which I got my money back - I won't be shopping there again either

Don't agree about Bunnings. I had problems with Pope Premium hose (expensive) and Bunnings bent over backward to fix the issue. Great customer service.
