to have the option of having it beep when finished. So many times I have been on my way to bed and only then remembered that it needed unloading when I could have done it half an hour beforehand. Nothing in the manual about it either. Through trial and error I found that if you press the stop button you can pause the cycle for long enough to add a few items and when you hit the start button again it remembers where it was up to.

Poor warranty & poor Customer Support – Bought Bosch dishwasher from Harvey Norman Bundall to replace Miele dishwasher. Poor quality stainless steel dishwasher made in Germany, the door started to rust in just over 6 months. Poor customer support, after two months of complaints and the case manager said is a tea -staining not covered by under manufacturing fault. Do Not Buy - terrible customer service – Great dishwasher until something goes wrong! Bought one of these originally from Harvey Norman in September 2018. option due to no repairers in our area). They did replace the unit with a brand new dishwasher, same model. It took only 7 months for the heat pump to wear out this time and I'm sick of dealing with Bosch's (lack) of customer service this time so have reverted to my product care warranty to resolve even though I should have 2 years of manufacturer warranty on the May 2020 unit. Will stay away from Bosch applicances going forward.

Love the dedicated cutlery rack on the top – We replaced our old Whirlpool Dishwasher which was barely washing our soiled dishes with the Bosch Series 6 and couldn't be happier with it. there are times when I need to go near the machine to see if it's actually running during the day when there is some ambient noise around the house.

The control panel is easy to navigate with dedicated buttons for each cycle you want to choose.

We mostly use the 60min cycle and if we have a full load by the end of the day we tend to run the Eco cycle which takes 2.50hrs.

Dishes come out dry and Im not too worried about the mugs collecting a little bit of water on the bottom surface after the cycle. There is the option of adding 15mins of extra drying to reach cycle if needed.

I also like the dedicated machine care feature which can do a clean of the machine when needed. The top and bottom racks can be adjusted to fit in saucepans, bowls or mugs as needed.

Love the dedicated cutlery rack on the top. The cutlery tray has a dedicated top water nozzle to wash the cutlery. It's easy to sort all the cutlery in the tray prior to washing which makes it easier to put them away (If you are pedantic). Also as this is the top most tray you don't have to bend to take the multiple cutlery items while putting them away (If you have back problems). The machine comes with a traditional cutlery basket and a wine glass stand which you can use when needed.

I wish the dishwasher had some sort of indicator to tell me when the washing has been completed specially after a long Eco cycle.

Overall a good dishwasher which does not generate a lot of noise during operation.

of the time, and the remaining 1% is only due to a couple containers that I have sometimes come out with a few drops on it.

A quick scrape is all that’s needed. Don’t have to pre-rinse (although I usually do).

I did so much research into dishwashers and we’re so happy we invested the extra few hundred dollars for the Bosch series 6.

I would totally 100% recommend this dishwasher.

every single load I have done has also applied extra dry function. The third rack for cutlery is great as if i dont use the basket for extra room on the bottom there is more space and the third shelf can be taken out so again you get that extra room.

Now the reason why i took of 1 star, by chance i came on some guides for first time use for Bosch dishwasher and it mentioned salt - special type of salt to soften water, nowhere in the instructions is there a mention to salt - this I believe is an error on the company - not meaning it lessens the quality of the dishwasher but its a little tedious and frustrating, due to this guide they specified you place salt in to soften water and nowhere in the instructions there is a mention to salt - so what do you do? so I purchased the special salt and filled it the way the guide and others have discussed and then contacted customer service - quick response time and they specified that salt was not needed - now to me because they release this info as a guide to salt and first time use online - if the Australian models don't require it, then they should have a mention to not place salt inside the dishwasher - I am a bit concerned now in regards is this salt going to cause problems. - so not the product fault or any lesser quality, I think the company has mishandled this salt information and the machine was made in Europe - I don't think salt will do any damage but if it does then I think I am covered by consumer laws

So back to the dishwasher - wow am impressed by the glass wash and how shiny they are and plates come out immaculate clean - plastic dries well on one setting, so you need to be aware of this and also some things in cutlery requires you to wash on top shelf due to heat and water pressures - the machine is not very loud which is good and generally happy with the purchase - do recommend them
