Doesn’t dry as well as expected – It’s only been a week of daily use, but so far it hasn’t been impressive. I opted for the serie 8 over the serie 6 for the extra feature where the door pops open for more efficient drying, but, it’s quite disappointing. Dishes and pans are still wet when removed from the dishwasher 6+ hours after the cycle finishes. It’s frustrating having to hand dry every mug that comes out because there’s a small pool of water sitting on the top of the base. It cleans well, however I haven’t run it through its paces with any heavily soiled pans.
The initial setup of connecting it to the app and Wi-Fi was a painstakingly long process, but after about 40 minutes and 10+ attempts, it succeeded without any errors. The features and convenience of controlling your dishwasher through an app seems greatly unnecessary, though does make it easy to delay your cycle to run during the day if you have solar.
I miss my Miele this replaced after it failed from 4 years of light daily use. It dried much more efficiently and the layout of the racks was so much more well thought out.
It does the job, just wish I went with the serie 6 to save the cash and gain the top cutlery rack instead of this useless one it came with.

As a general point of troubleshooting for such issues, we do recommend using rinse aid in the dishwasher to aid with the wash and dry process. Additionally, our dishwashers are designed to save water and so, the pool of water that remains at the base at the end of a cycle gets recycled for the rinsing process when a new load of dishes is placed in. We do often suggest not to rinse dishes too thoroughly before putting them in the dishwasher as the appliance is designed to detect food remnants, often over-rinsing before placing in the dishwasher can offer a poor end result.
