E24 Error – Hi, I too have this problem. We purchased the product and then it was stored until installation, but because the warranty goes from purchase date it is out of warranty. Coincidence or not it started playing up just as the warranty expired. Bosch need to address these concerns, it was a $1300 dishwasher. Now sitting in the kitchen not working, with water in the base (again)

A must for my kitchen – I have had my Bosch dishwasher for some two months now, and I find it excellent. My previous dishwasher (a Kleenmaid) died after 17 years, so I had very specific expectations for my new one, and they have all been met. It is wonderfully quiet - I often have to put my ear down to the machine to be sure it is actually working. The cutlery tray at the top of the machine is a fantastic innovation - makes emptying the cutlery very quick. I do find that some of my larger tools, like the balloon whisk, or the ladle are more difficult to fit in, but that just requires more ingenuity on my part. I have tried most of the washing options available, and find the eco option, which washes at a lower temperature and dries at a lower temperature works fine for all but the dirtiest of dishes. My test wash included a plate smeared with egg yolk, a saucepan used to make pea and ham soup, and a custard saucepan, all of which had sat for about 12 hours before I started the machine, and all came out spotless on the auto cycle which washes at 45 - 65C. Its not good at drying plastic dishes, but I haven't bothered to use the intensive drying cycle because it just uses more power and frankly a tea cloth is cheaper.
I love the time delay switch, That coupled with its quiet running means I can have the dishwasher running at 2am with no-one the wiser.
I am very happy with my Bosch dishwasher, and would recommend it. And incidentally, for those who like to use white vinegar instead of dishwasher rinse aid: I did that for most of my Kleenmaid's life, but thought I would ask the question of Bosch and the response was: Rinse aid is entirely optional, and if you have soft water (as Ido) there is no need for it. Vinegar is NOT recommended because some of the components are aluminium and vinegar will deteriorate them.

My time less then a year – Purchased from Harvey's, I did a bit of research on the predecessor that was on the floor and reviewed well and made in Germany and no normal issues. got the "Free upgrade" to this new model because they were out of stock and from out of the box this was washing very poorly, booked a service with Bosch after they sent out few packets of Scalex with no effect was clean from new, and this is model noticed this was made in Spain nothing really on Google about it so must if discontinued quickly, noticed the Harvey and Good guys still selling the predecessor model.
Bosch eventually sent a tech out and got the valve replaced washing pretty well now, just rinse / drying is nowhere near as good as my LG with an 80-degree rinse cycle. Open the door on LG as soon as it's finished and steam cleans your house from opening door brilliant! This Bosch one you have to leave at least 20 minutes at least then open and leave for an hour for best results on drying. and still need to hand dry non-sticks and plastics.
Not worth $1,200 bucks spent on Made in Spain Bosch, would have rather had an LG, not for quality but performance of the wash.
Girlfriend came from a Miele Family and thinks old Miele washes better. I had an LG with an electronic issue in its life but always washed great.
