Yes i do have to agree with you that the height of the kick board was something that should have been larger as we had to also adjust the height to it maximum. May Bosch could review and include/supply a bigger one as well :)

Agree. Just got a bosch today and the kickboard is not standard height. It should be 14cm but it is this skinny little thing with gaps above and below, looks CRAP!

Really disappointed. Bosch should provide standard size kickboards for Australia!!!!

The SMI68M25AU, SMI88TS01A, SMV88TX01A models have a 15 International place setting capacity, the SMI50M05AU & SMV63M01AU have a 14 International place setting capacity.

Hi Bernyzz001, Thanks for your question regarding the difference between the Bosch SMS50D08AU and Bosch SMU40M05AU dishwasher. These two appliances are very different models. The SMU40M05AU is a built under model which means it comes with no top and needs to be secured underneath cabinetry in the kitchen. The SMS50D08AU is a freestanding model which means it doesn't need to be built into the cabinetry.
