a basic slow cooker = not multi functional – Poor manual instructions = limited recipe online only = poor support = Temp only goes up to 160 c which is not high enough for good roast/frying purposes. A basic slow /steam cooker, would not consider this a serious multifunctional contender. Better instructions and quality recipe booklet with product would give a better performance model.  Show details

I love my Bosco! – I say that every time I use it. It is brilliant for soups and pasta sauces and veggies and lots more. Set and forget, but you can check on the progress of your dish any time. And nothing sticks! When I was sick I could just throw a few things in and go back to bed, then wake up to a nutritious meal. For someone who hated to cook I cook a lot now.… Read more

There are quite a few functions and I'm working my way through them. It's so easy to use and it's fun! My Bosco lives on my bench because I use it so often. It is also very easy to clean. I love my Bosco!

Not a best choice for cooking rice – I bought this for cooking rice because it has a timer and keep warm function. Unfortunately, I don't think I can enjoy these functions. Because I don't get perfect cooked rice is not yet. The measurement inside bowl is totally useless. When I followed this measurement, I got soft and sticky rice. Also I needed to pull the vent on the lid up to… Read more

avoid making mess. Otherwise, kitchen will be covered by sticky water.

I'm disappointed but regretably, I have taken the box away before I knew its quality. So, I couldn't return it.

Only what I can do is trying to find appropriate water level to get perfect cooked rice or leave it as a kitchen interior.

I was using rice cooker bought at discount shop by $30, which was easier to use and better quality of rice cooked than this. good looking as kitchen interior It's not a useful tool because its measurement doesn't work properly.

I enjoy using this product. Makes the best rice – I bought this product in January, 2012. It is very easy to use and really helps me in the kitchen. I have a one year old child and I am a working mum as well. It really saves my time cooking. It is great for soups and stews and makes the most perfect rice. I told all my friends to get one! I saw the previous review and reviewer complained about… Read more

water spilling everywhere, it could be because the top vent wasn't open. It needs to be pulled up before cooking to let all the steam escape. I converted all my fav recipes to use in this cooker and will buy a second one for my friend, who didn't listen to me and got another brand which now doesn't work. For the price, it is the best multi-cooker that I recommend. The size, style and functions It doesn't have the sound alarm to indicate when it stops cooking, it turns to keep warm automatically

Great Appliance, very stylish and helpful – I had a discount voucher and finally decided to use it.Happy I did. It is so easy to use, has lots of functions and I find myself using it everyday. It sits on my bench now permanently now and not going to move! I cooked in it so far: chicken stew, pasta sauce, rice and baked a cake. I would recommend this appliance to anyone and already have… Read more ·  1

to all my friends and family. Inexpensive, great appliance, very stylish Would be great to have a sound alarm function when the appliance stops cooking instead of just having a display to light up

Not good, think I got a faulty one but it made an awful mess. Customer service was excellent tho! – Bought this from an eBay seller at a great price of $98. When it arrived I was quite excited and it looked good. It was a tad on the cheap side but for the price its exactly what I suspected. I only made one attempt at cooking with it before returning it for a refund. I cooked two cups of brown rice with the measurement of water listed in the… Read more

recipe booklet supplied with the item. Half way through the cooking time the unit started steaming (normal) and 10 mins later started bubbling. After that bubbling got rather frantic and water spat in chunks from the spout. As this was my first attempt I was reluctant to turn off so I let the cycle finish and by the end there was ricey gel water all over my coutnertop, and the rice had a lot of water underneath. (Essentially it just looked like I had too much water in there, even tho it was the correct measurement, I checked again afterward). However, it made so much mess I worried about what it would have done if it were a stew? Put me off the machine altogether and I went to the Bosco website and had a livechat with a service person.

There customer service however was great however, I had bought from a reseller, not directly from them but they organised refund and pick up. I would definitely buy other Bosco products because of this, but don't recommend this machine. I think this is a design fault more than me having a faulty product. Very quiet, compact and portable. Customer service was excellent! It was faulty or badly designed (I don't know which)
