Customer service is absolutely awful to non existent. Honestly avoid them at all costs. The vans might look the part but service or assistance before even receiving a van is absolutely atrocious. We went through a revolving door of people and given nothing but false hope and lies. Deposit is definitely NOT refundable either so don’t waste your time like we did trying to get that back.
The company is in shambles and you don’t want to get left with no warranty support if things go bad down the track.
Waiting 6 weeks for a response on a trailer plug wiring diagram and still not receiving that information after multiple phone calls, emails and text messages. Literally months of no response from our (revolving door of) point of contact and emails chains SPECIFICALLY CONFIRMING the van model and internal fit out was to our request only to try and get off loaded a different model van in different colour and internal fit out. If that’s considered acceptable and within company procedures I would recommend careful consideration before putting down a deposit with this company.
Furthermore I’ll add that that these dramas were still encountered as recently as a few weeks. For piece of mind we went towards another company that has a large market share, national base, warranty support and excellent customer support.
Boss Adventure Caravans - DO NOT ENGAGE - nightmare to deal with – ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE............ Do not engage with this company unless you want to be Screwed around for months on end and have your deposit handed back to you with no apologies. It's a pity there isn't the option to tick no stars!!! I had typed 1/3 of our experience on here and it was getting WAY too long and to be honest, I don't think anyone would have believed our story as it just doesn't seem real and the fact that I was reliving the situation while typing it out simply just pissed me off again.
In summary, we were promised something they couldn't supply even after expressing our needs both verbally and written in emails, offered something that was not to our requirements and was second hand.
We sold the van we loved, purchased a tinny to go on the roof plus multiple other accessories.
The second van we were offered and agreed on got stolen from the showroom 6hrs before it was due on a truck for delivery (the Jury is still out on this one as I believe it was an inside job from one of their external suppliers), which if the original delivery date wasn't missed by 3 weeks wouldn't have happened.
The GM and salesman/ [Content Removed] artist lied to me about the fact it was my van that got stolen so they could fabricate a story and I was only told it was my van after 3 days.
I could go on for days but all in all the facts are:
Were told that the vans are Australian made when in fact they are [Content Removed] imports and they just fit the plumbing and electrical in Australia
Was told that the build time was 8-10weeks which in fact is 5 months
Got lied to about the vans capabilities
Got sold something that was second hand and was being passed off as new
Sold the van we loved
Missed out on 4 trips we had booked and paid for
Have had to hire a van for one of those trips
Purchased a tinny that now cant be carried
we are 14K out of pocket
And all they could do was hand my deposit back via email with not apology whatsoever.
They are an absolute joke, and if all that seems a little hard to believe, I have every single bit of correspondence in email.
@Boss Adventure don't even bother to reply to this, it actually makes me sick when I see anything with your company name on it now.
Buyer beware, actually RUUUUUUN!

We’re disappointed to read your comments, as they don’t reflect the standards or direction of BOSS Caravans today.
BOSS Caravans did go through a period of disruption due to a directors’ dispute, and we acknowledge that this impacted some customers at the time. Since then, the business has moved to new ownership and management, with significant improvements made across our team, processes, and customer support.
While we respect your perspective, we also feel it’s important to note that situations like this often have multiple sides. Based on our records and documented communication, we are confident that our team acted appropriately and in line with our processes throughout your dealings with us.
That said, this period does not reflect the business today. We remain committed to clear communication, transparency, and standing behind our customers moving forward.
In relation to deposits and warranty concerns, these are handled in line with our terms and conditions and our obligations, and we are always open to reviewing individual situations where concerns are raised.
Thank you for your feedback — it helps ensure we continue to improve and provide a better experience for all customers.
