Terrible faulty product – The first one we bought leaked water onto the bench and eventually stopped producing ice. Got it replaced under warranty. The second one stopped pumping water up to make the ice & now we have the newer model which again has stopped pumping water. This will be the third time I’m taking it back. We bought it to take camping however use it daily at home on the bench. Absolutely don’t recommend this product at all

Moving the arm that pushes ice into basket – Update on my last review. Wiggled the arm that pushes the ice over into the basket. Problem fixed. Left arm moved a bit in downward movement. Be gentle as it is plastic obviously. But seems to work fine! Whoo hoo!!

Brass Monkey Ice Machine Stops Making Ice – Having this machine for just over five months using it mostly on weekends and during the school holidays we have found that it stopped making ice. Up to this point I had been happy with the machine where it would start up and make ice quickly although on hot days it would struggle initially to produce usable ice. I purchased this machine because it runs on 12 volts and I wanted ice when away camping but also use it in our house with the optional extra 240v power supply. From new when operating it would make noticeable groaning noises but I put this down to normal operation. Its size in my opinion is the same as an automatic coffee machine which is big but not huge. So far I have tried to diagnose why it refuses to operate any longer than a minute by trying to run the ice machine on 12v and 240v from different outlets but the result is the same slow flashing red light every five seconds which according to the trouble shooting guide is low voltage but I suspect the problem is the water pump as it doesn’t operate at all
