Electrical connections very badly designed – Awful electrical connection design. Cords are large and unwieldy. The cord attached to the controller is almost as long as the cord to the power point, which means that when you’re in bed, you have to haul the controller in to be able to reach it. If you have a wooden floor, the controller will fall and hit the floor heavily with a large thud, because of the excessive cord length. The attachment to the blanket is large and lumpy and too far in…it can easily be felt when in bed. . Runs hot on the lowest setting. Very hard to keep smooth on the bed. Not worth the $$$. I am disappointed in Breville. Will not buy again.

Stay away – Wish I had done some research before purchasing. Product was faulty out of the box. After returning to the place of purchase, the cashier advised they have had many returns of the same item. This is the second faulty breville electric blanket, I will never purchase a Breville product again, over priced and poor quality. Do yourself a favour and purchase a product from a different brand.

Very disappointing – The blanket is too hot even on lowest setting. The wifi is difficult to set up and requires 2.4G wifi connection. You cannot set lower or upper sections on or off independently, if one is on the other must also be on. My first purchase died after 6 months. Luckily Harvey Norman replaced it under warranty. I really regret buying this, a waste of $300.

Insanely clever heat zoning & features! This company has thought of everything! – This product has thought of absolutely everything! With more and more products offering features designed to offer convenience to consumers this product is next level. We are a household of tech lovers and even we were a bit shocked once we unpacked it and looked at the instructions. Once you get your app set up you most likely wont manually turn on/off the blanket and why would you want to if you can turn it on from the couch and be heated perfectly just in time to crawl into?
However my only concern was we have a Super King bed and we had to buy just a King. The retail assistant wasn't sure it would fit and measurements of a bed skirt is not something I think of when shopping but the product is generously fitted and sits perfectly snug over our Super King. The detachable quilted cover just snaps on/off for super easy washing without having to pull the entire blanket off and detach the heat controllers. If you can't be bothered using the app to turn the blanket on it is also able to be voice controlled by Google Home or Alexa. There are absolutely no excuses for a cold bed anymore.
At first glance I thought the zoning might be a little over the top, with 4 zones for upper/lower body on both sides of the bed. I assumed I would just set my zones at the same temperature until one night my feet were freezing from walking around the house on cold tiles and I turned the heat up for my feet without the added heat on the upper area. Okay....wowsers I'm a true fan now!
There are 6 heat settings and being honest I like to get into a pretty toasty hot bed on a cold night and I have not used above number 3! I've used 1&2 the most so goodness knows how hot #6 heat would be! But not to worry it also has safety overheat protection to boot. It also heats up faster than our previous electric blanket and is really quick to heat..bonus after bonus.
Although a tad pricey (but in similar price bracket to other comparable products) it certainly is high-quality and with a 3 year replacement warranty it sounds like Breville are standing behind the quality of this product.
This very well thought out luxury product is ideal for people who appreciate good quality products with features that offer seamless modern convenience.
