1st Time owner of a Juicer "Breville's Juice Fountain Cold BJE430 SIL-ANZ" – Purchased from Harvey Norman, Bundall, Qld on Sat., 6-Jul-24. Easy to set up & use. First juice made 3 x sml Carrots, 3 x large Green Apples, fresh Ginger & Turmeric. than trying to use a blender. Made 2 full cups of juice. Easy enough to clean although the blade plate collected minute/small pieces of skin between the stainless steel blade plate where it is seated inside the filter basket assembly (ie: on its outer edge). A little foam was transferred into the jug but it still tasted great with no heat transfer. A little staining occurred on the plastic from the carrot & turmeric but a good wash in soapy water removed it from all the parts but wouldn't want to leave that mix on any of the parts for too long. Can't find a Serial Number anywhere on the box, under the base or in the documentation, which is strange.
Never buy to save your health! – I do juicing regularly. I bought this juicer as it can dispense large quantity. Later I found it got a MAJOR defect. Which will have a major health issues, the blade slowly cutting plastic and adding this to juice. So, instead of drinking healthy juice, you end-up drinking plastic added juice. Breville, stop this model selling to public! I won't buy it, even if you give me for free! I won't even consider if you give me money to use it. For your family's health sake, don't buy it! It would be far better not to drink juice at all, compared to drinking juice from this juicer.
Waste of Money, too much froth – I bought the breville XL Cold, thinking it's top of the range. It's like any other juicer, no difference. I sold mine within 2 months, it makes way too much froth. Not worth it, don't waste your money! Show details

slightly high (I assume all juicers in general must require a considerable amount of produce to get enough juice), so be aware that juicers will add to your weekly fruit and veg costs, yet it's still cheaper than cafe bought fresh juice. I was really impressed with the jug and how it seperates the foam from the juice when poured. My young kids get so excited every time I get the juicer out and love dropping the fruit into the chute. As far as noise goes I would say it's a little bit noisy but that doesn't bother me... It's pulverising food so it's gotta make some noise! The downside if any, is that clean up is a little time-consuming, but I believe that's the case with all juicers. And to get around that, because the juicer and jug are such a decent size, you could always make juice in bulk and freeze it to prevent having to use and clean it daily. Overall, love it! Well made appliance, easy to use.. creating delicious fresh juice.
Makes clean fresh juice – This juicer makes amazing drinks and really helps maintain a balanced diet. There are some vegetables I just can’t eat but using this juicer I can add mix up a variety of goodies and still get the benefits without having to eat my way through kilos of veggies. Easy to use – This machine was good at producing juice, it is somewhat loud when in operation.This product was used on a weekly bases, and was able to put large amounts down the chute, not too much work to dismantle and clean machine. Fresh juice in seconds! – Love that we can make a big batch of juice and it's all fresh. Best perk is that you can throw in whole fruits into the chute. Easy clean up & loving the bigger jug! No complaints so far. Show reply
