Non Stick? What a laugh it Sticks every time. Try Kambrook Omelette maker. Perfect!! – The non stick coating is Such a Porky! It does stick, Badly! Breville is a brand I’ve always trusted but if they’re now making their products in China as one reviewer claimed, plus producing materials dangerous to our health when heated then Goodbye Breville. I sent mine back to the op shop and apologise to whoever bought it. Try the Kambrook… Read more

Omlette maker! It’s PERFECTION! Bland tasteless Omelettes? The problem lies with the Cook! Not the appliance.

Definitely Non Stick – if you are considering this product either new or secondhand, have second thoughts, you will be very frustrated with having to clean it every time you use it. It is definitely Non Stick as advertised. The design is excellent and the cooking concept great too, but if it had been non stick coated in Europe as opposed to China it might well be a great product. Clearly, Breville was aiming to sell at a price and it wasn't successful.  Show details

Don’t waste your money – I purchased a new Breville omelette maker to replace the old one we had as that one had started to stick only to find the new one sticks a lot worse than the one I threw out, very disappointed and a complete waste of money, will cook the old way from now on  Show details

Non-stick Surface? You Must Be Joking! – The "non-stick" surface on my new Breville omelette maker is a joke. I can not cook anything without it sticking to the surface and breaking up when trying to take it out. Absolutely woeful. I purchased it to replace one I had had for over 25 years. Bad decision. I have wasted my money.

Warning: contains PFOA – Purchased this month ago and had no idea it is discontinued model (hence not happy paid full price). Called Breville to ask if it contains harmful PFOA and they said it does. Although this works very well and makes a great omelette I am not wanting to use it for the kids due to the PFOA. Breville get with the times and remove this harmful crap. It… Read more

is linked to cancer and all good reputable companies are removing it from their products. Google PFOA if you don't know much about it. On Breville website they have a different model up that says it's PFOA free but have not seen anywhere in store. Still really mad about being sold a discontinued model at full price. Not happy.

Tasteless – I used the omelette maker for the first time today and the omelettes were tasteless. Mine was a plain omelette and my daughter's was a cheese omelette but neither was any good. They didn't taste "eggy" - they didn't taste like anything. I'm going back to cooking them in the frypan!!

Breville Omelette Maker – Makes really nice omelettes but the non stick surface is terrible. I returned my omelette first maker to the Good Guys who did replace it but told me It was my fault as I did not follow the directions. I have tried two omelette makers now and this one did the same thing.

Great omelette's, really bad non stick surface – The first time I used the appliance it worked brilliantly. From the second time on though the omelette completely stuck to the "non stick" surface and now I may need to use steel wool to get all the stuck egg off it. I soak it for an hour in soapy water and then spend 15 minutes cleaning the surface with a non abrasive cleaner however that is not really working any more. Better off to use a non stick frypan instead.
