Love this microwave – I purchased this convection microwave a few months ago and love it. I haven’t had any issues with it and it’s is a great multi functional microwave. I don’t need a microwave oven after purchasing this. I have used it to grill pizza, fish and bread. It is much quicker than a conventional grill. It can grill and bake as well. I was able to… Read more

defrost and then bake the pie in the microwave and it turned out great. I haven’t tried to make a roast in it yet, but apparently you can use it for that purpose.

I have also baked brownies in the microwave and it turned out great.

Other than it’s a good microwave, heats things nicely and very easy to use. It has so many features and you can do so much with it.

For a cheap microwave it does so much. I brought it from good guys for $288.

A good microwave which can handle simple baking and grilling – It is good to have this model which has options to microwave, bake and grill all in one. We mostly use it in the microwave mode. However, we occasionally bake a cake or use it to grill bread and the results are not bad. But a dedicated oven does a far better job. So, we use it only when there are guests at home and we have to bake more. As a… Read more

microwave, it does it's job - be it in program mode or custom mode. It's been a little more than an year and it is still going good.

Works as a microwave – Have been using this as my primary microwave that I share with 2 roommates. Seems to work just fine for reheating food and work like a microwave should. Haven't used the convection mode a whole lot, however we were curious to see if it worked at all and made a packet mix cake and it cooked exactly like it would in an oven. The convection stand… Read more

that it provided it very limiting to the size of trays/dishes that you can fit in their whilst using the convection mode though.

It's just a microwave – This microwave is pretty much just a microwave its very confusion to understand the menus that are programmed in, its not the hottest microwave that i have used, i thing breville could of done a better job with this one, it does work just not value for money that i have paid.  Show details

Total Dissappointment – No User Manual available for this model, hopeless at Toasting, actually cooks the bread instead of grilling, we still roast in the oven because this is hopeless and we are only a two person household. No set programs for defrosting all trial; and error. Had a whirlpool crisp and grill years ago on the boat worked better than this. This was a… Read more

replacement for a later model Crisp and Grill we thought as a 'convection' oven it would do better but it is useless. Will never buy Breville again and disappointed with the Good Guys for selling us this model

The defrosting is poor and heating up is is warm.!! – Breville Quick Roast BM0715BSS is not worth the money and Thegoodguys have sold me a lemon.!! No wonder it is on special. Please give me back my 7 year old LG microwave.!! I am sure any other user would be most unhappy with this so called QUICK ROAST Convection Microwave. It is just good money down the drain. Please give me my money back.!!  Show details

Requires a 1m wide opening! Fire risk as convection oven – This convection oven requires 20cm clearance on each side, with the 60cm oven, that mean you need a 1m width to accommodate it. When used in convection mode, it gets ridiculously hot on all sides, even underneath and the door, it seemed like a fire risk. Microwave functionality seemed ok in the short amount of time I used it. (I've been using a… Read more

Sharp convection microwave previously, it did not heat up on every surface, underneath only got a bit warm, the door barely changed temperature,. It only required a 5cm clearance on the sides, it required a similar clearance to the Breville above it)

Not great at anything it does – Tried this out for a few days and was not impressed. As a microwave it is under powered, as a convection over I could only get it up to 170 degrees after 30 minutes set at 230 degrees. As a grill it works ok but was only just got enough to melt cheese. The worst part is using it in combination mode, when using any of the combi modes you can't… Read more

adjust the power level of microwave or the temperature of the convection oven (but from tests on combination mode it only got up to about 140 degrees (not enough to cook something fast and crispy). My old lg combi microwave was much better (although that had issues it did get up to 230 degrees in about 10 mins and allowed you to set microwave power and temp in combi mode). Returned the Breville to good guys for a refund, will keep looking for a better replacement.
