Terrible experience with Breville 3IN1 Combi wave oven.. bought it at $700 from Harvey but it has gone bad in 2 years and making lot of noise in oven or air fry mode.. customer care telling to buy another on with 40-50% discount however they inflate there price in there website which is turning out to give another $450 from my pocket…. i would never recommend this product and breville to anyone else… Show details

price, I expected much better performance. If you're looking for a straightforward microwave, avoid this one and go for something simpler that does the basics well. Breville should stick to what they do best—coffee machines.

town but I combined it with a trip that way so not a major problem in Adelaide. A week or so later I had a call saying it was dead and they were sending a replacement ... which they did. So now I have 2 operational devices that are working happily. I totally don't use my oven or air-fryer anymore with the two Combis taking over all their functions. Interestingly, after cooking with the OVEN function for cakes and reheating chicken etc (tastes much better than microwaving), I tried using the AIR-FRY function instead and it does the same thing in half the time, a bit like a fan-forced oven I guess. The GRILL function works but is definitely not rapid, allowing extra time via the timer gets around the problem without burning but not fabulous for a quick melted cheese sandwich. The pre-heat function is annoying but I just knock about 3 minutes off the total oven or air-fry timer and the problem goes away. As for the self-closing door I have seen criticised in other reviews, I just give the door a tiny flick with my thumb as I close it and it shuts perfectly every time. So would I recommend it ? Well yes but don't throw away your existing microwave or sandwich griller just yet.

Really well engineered – We have had this for a year now. I don’t use the grill and only sometimes use the airfryer which has worked well but i don’t really have expectations for that part, it brings leftover chips back to life pretty well. on a big magnetron, the heat input is actually lower, which is what you need for gentle heating. It heats things through without drying them brilliantly and quickly. And the controls are intuitive and quick. The soft close door and the ability to turn off all the buzzers (which are pleasant sounds anyway) are awesome too. This is my second Breville product and both have been really thoughtfully designed.

useful oven. It is easy to keep clean if you do it regularly. The microwave has 10 power levels which I assume go down in 10% increments but there is no information to confirm that. I have used the air fryer to cook chicken and fish, the microwave to cook tv dinners and the food menu to cook frozen pizza. All have turned out perfectly. Overall, a very nice product.

Worst ever Microwave brand purchased ever – Bought the Microwave from JBHI two years ago. Since the purchase, I always had issues with it. The food was undercooked. The attachment tray leg melted even when used as per instructions. The oven stopped functioning occasionally. Absolute Garbage – I have had this unit for 2 weeks and already gone through 2 Combi Crispi pans as I tried using them in the oven and the leg melted both times leaving the unit to really not work as it is suppose to. Smoke came both times and in calling Breville, they did nothing for an entire hour and finally at the end of it offered me 25% off a new pan. I mean are you Flipping kidding me. Returning it and buying something that will actually work.

not so happy now – we looked at replacing our lg soladom which was getting noisy after 13 years and went for the breville combi wave 3 in 1, but have found the microwave function low in power and now our pan crisper is starting to melt. Show details ·  1

It all fits – A nice compact microwave that does it all. Came to this 32lt from a 42lt Panasonic Combi 1000w which served well for years but as all microwaves do it lost power and started making its own timing decisions. that didn't fit but a round replacement went well. The air fryer which some complain about ... hey it doesn't taste like plastic guys, just takes a wee longer than the Aldi special without adding devices or power cords to the benchtop. The cooking ...easy, fast on combi setting, excellent results, doing way more combi's by nature now by comparison to the good old BIG Panasonic which did have that feature but I was less inclined to use it.

Poor performance – Space saving but microwave is not powerful, air flyer cannot perform like individual air flyer, oven is slow and not powerful enough to cook food, grill is just enough to cook food and not even have grill appearance on the surface. Perfect Rice, for the first time! – I am absolutely delighted with my new Combi-Wave 3 in 1 product. For the first time I can make perfect rice. Using their special settings I can pop corn quick and easy, melt butter, reheat meals and I LOVE the “A bit more” button as well. And to think my husband initially bought it because of the smooth door closing feature. It is so much more than a fancy door!!!

Faulty crisping pan – Nice microwave however after using crisping pan 3 times in airfyer mode I find plastic has melted around one of the legs and now it the leg wont come down so cant be used! After looking online I can see this is not the first time it has happened! Very poor condidering how expensive this microwave is. Hoping Breville will be helpful when I contact them.
