Breville the Easy Air

Works as intended – Received this as a gift from family. It is pretty much on every time I'm in the room in the 4 years I have it. I always leave it at medium speed with the ?UV antibacterial setting on. There are few tiny blue light but it is not too bright as to bother me from sleeping with the room light off. The longest I left it on was for 1 week nonstop and it… Read more
didn't die. I vacuumed the filter once in a while and haven't bothered to replace it, the filter still looks good as far as I'm concerned. Not sure if it makes any difference to air quality but my room air feels decent so maybe it does work?
OMG Breville software is the worst – Trying to get this programmed and working via wi fi is just horrendous. Keeps on changing it's advice, keeps on asking for the same password when it does not succeed. Must be better than this Show details
Works like a charm – I bought this as a present for my wife even though I was far from convinced we needed one. It's very quiet in operation. She perceives it as effective. I find the blue LED lights at the top of the unit annoying, so she solved that by placing it on the floor. Overall a well designed product that does what it claims to. The tip about vacuuming the filters is good, as to pay A$59.95 for a replacement would be far too much. Show details
Not a good buy filters are a scam – Most important is you can vacuum the filters $59.95 each!!! put them back in the unit hold the ON BUTTON for 5 seconds and the red light will go off as the filter is not full. It cannot even hold a 5 inch piece of paper on medium speed. I vacuumed the filter, some dust but not much for almost a years running. Red light on even after cleaning… Read more
filter. The filters are $60 dollars approx, so not cheap to run. I have 3 I think I was ripped off. $120.00 to replace filters every 6 month as they suggest.
Great but a bit glitchy – I bought this for my husband recently as he suffers allergies etc. He has it in his bedroom and says that he notices the difference in the air quality - much better. Although, it does have some glitches. The night mode has a mind of its own and sometimes goes up to the highest setting which obviously wakes him up. It has turned off a few times as… Read more
well and it's not an electricity dip because he also uses a cpap machine and that would cut out also. I bought one for my daughter's boyfriend too and he seems to like it also. Not sure if his is glitchy though.
Effective, easy to operate and worth the money – So far I'm pleased with this little air purifier. It's very effective at removing odors, especially pet odours. It's easy to operate either via the controls on the machine itself or via the app. I really like that in the app you can see the current and past air quality in the room. It was really easy to set up, not fiddly like some smart… Read more
technology is.
My bedroom is about 4x4 sqm and it keeps it fresh very effectively so it would easily do a living room. It's quiet enough to have on all night at the lowest setting, however if you sleep in complete silence and have very sensitive hearing you will hear it faintly. I docked one star as on night mode (all LED lights turned off) you can only have it on the lowest setting, which is a bit annoying if you want a lot of airflow while you sleep. I sleep with a fan on so I wouldn't be bothered by the noise.
Good result from the Breville air purifier – Got the unit from the good guys. Was the cheapest in the shop. My bedroom is 3m x3.5 m I could see a lot of dust in the sunlight in the morning. The filter cleaned this so it definitely works. I leave it on low setting all night. I live in Darwin. I will see if the UV light stops mold in the wet season. I find my airways are better in the morning. No congestion. Show details
Works well, but – Purchased this a week ago because of severe respiratory allergies that had suddenly developed. Used it on low for the first few days and didn't notice any difference, when I switched to high that was when the air quality improved quite noticeably. Obviously I would prefer to use the quiet mode but can put up with the audible sound (from the fan) for the sake of having cleaner air and less allergy response. Show details
Great price and working well! – Used it for 3 weeks in my daughters room and working a treat so far. Excellent price, nice and quiet and love the timer setting. Have not yet changed the filter but seems very easy, Show details
Jury still out – It’s compact and looks great and is very quiet at night. Whether it actually removes dust from the air (my reason for purchase for allergies) - I’m not yet convinced. The fan mode low - medium - high doesn’t change how much suction regarding air going into the system, and the suction seems pretty poor (a piece of paper won’t even stick to the… Read more
side). On high or turbo it just blows dust further around the room, rather than it settling and I could at least vacuum it up. Appears to work better for dust on a lower setting, and maybe works better not on the floor. But if purchasing this for reducing dust - I don’t think I would bother. Get a unit with better suction.
Have helped me breathe easier at night – Began having trouble breathing since bushfire. After purchasing this air filter I was able to breath easier. I have recommended it so much each if my family member now have one in their room. I turn it on 2 hrs before bed and it has a nighttime mode that you can barely here for when you are sleeping. Highly recommend. Good price as well and very easy to use. Show details
Got rid of the Bushfire smoke – I bought this in December and within an hour it had cleared the smoke from the bedroom. I don't use it all the time so haven't needed to change the filter yet. It is very quiet and pleasing to look at. It has helped my breathing and watery eyes. Show details
Save my family's life! – Start to looking for an air purifier late November, as my partner got a very serious allergy and have to work from home due to the poor condition. Checked the review of a few brands like Sharp, Xiaomi, Dyson, etc and decided to buy this Breville one. Used it for 2 weeks, no complain at all. very easy to use, reasonable noise. Using it in either… Read more
bedroom or a small office room under 20 square meter, and it works great! Compared with the most expensive Sharp or Dyson one, this Breville air purifier is excellent value!

No more waking up with headaches – Like many others in Sydney right now, I bought this to clear bush fire smoke/ pollution from my bedroom. I also live near a major road so this will still be useful in future. Last night was my first time using the air purifier. The instructions were a touch confusing, but that could also have been my end of year mushy brain. Once I figured it… Read more
out, it was straightforward enough. The unit is more aesthetically pleasing than I thought it would be when I ordered it.
The fan is really quiet and no issue at all for sleeping. I woke up today feeling more refreshed than I have in weeks, and without the headache I've woken up with most most mornings recently. Very early days with the product, but I'm really happy with my purchase.
Love it so far – Purchased this as our house was inundated with bushfire smoke. Our room now has no odour whatsoever and we both feel a lot better. The unit is easy to use, portable and quiet as a mouse - perfect for me as I am a light sleeper. So far I'm very happy with my purchase. Great value for a bedroom purification system. Show details

click on photo, it shows how much little dust caches in more than a year, and still millions of floating dust particles in the room.
