This Winix 360 is the best filter for pet owners – BLOWN AWAY. I live in the country so you would assume I have clean air. as they are (to no fault of their own) dusty birds. Its the particles that you dont see that come out of their fur which I wanted to avoid. Beautiful babies that I like to keep indoors when the weather is bad.
This Winix air purifier within minutes made my entire open plan living area (lounge, study, kitchen) incredibly breatheable and the clean air makes me feel more alert and energetic.
Its LITERALLY like night and day. Its quiet and so clean and the odors from when I cook in the kitchen are GONE. The color goes red when you cook and it gets busy clearing the odors away. I dont feel paranoid about pet fur etc Its so big but quiet and so affordable.
I had a breville air filter before which did absolutely nothing. And the price tag was huge when I got it. But I really wanted to explore other purifiers as my in-laws have them and it makes a difference when you get the right one.
I trust Korean brands and engineering for their quality and honesty in testing so I chose the Winix.
I am SOOO happy and wish to repurchase for family. I have more energy and less tired due to clean air which is great because I work from home some of the time. even my husband who was groaning that I keep spending money and was skeptical he admitted it made a huge difference.

purchased the purifiers. Our son is sleeping through the night, fully rested and no more sneezing episodes during the night! One in each bedroom and one downstairs in the rumpus / family room too. me tell you I have these 2 units operation about 10m about and the led “dust and pollution” indicator will work almost perfect sync with each other indicting they really do detect the level of pollution in the air well . I normally have to do the filters in the Aircon’s very often but now about 1/4 as often . Yes I have to change over the winix filters often but I am in a workshop making things and i blow the filters out with compressed air before replacement and honestly my health is worth more then a few filters ( winix wish you would do bulk packs ) . In anyone at winix reads this in version 2 please make it possible to disable the automatic sleep mode . While I think this is a awesome feature for most customers the fact the machine enters sleep mode when it senses no light is very up market , for me I want these cranking 24/7 lights on off ect . I’d recommend 2 small handles in the top of the main blow mold also as it will make more easy for old ladies to move around the house when they fall in love with this amazing product . If your very wealthy I’d recommend installing one in ever bedroom , lounge room , office and other space you spend time regularly .
As for health , well I can breath through my nose for the first time in years while at work . My doctor has said my lungs sounds have improved and honestly I get let irritated .

I normally am super skeptical and think this sorta things I’ll use for a week and question my decision , this is not that far . I can imagine if you have more serious health problems then me or have a low immune system this machine could change or save your life .
Your doing gods work winix but seriously pick up your advertisement i really had to go down the rabbit hole to find your product , and also if Bunnings can sell this unit for 350 so can you on your website :)

run at night in sleep mode. The hayfever in spring is also ov er for my wife and myself. The other really major advantage is that of the carbon filter. In Perth we often suffer from planned burns smog. This irritates my aiways but at least I am now safe in the house with the purifier on. I do not use the built in ionizer after having gone through scientific literature about this. In short, the Winix was a life changer for our family. I had tried smaller ones (the small circular filters) before, but noticed no effects from it. I now bought the Winix for my children as well. Regretfully we need them and they work.
Follow-up · I was asked to write a follow up review with the specific questions if the light bothers me. The answer is no as I switch it off at night, also the frequency of changing the filters depends on how heavy the use is. My filters are replaced after 8-9 months and I vacuum it once a month. great. The only issue with the old unit is that it is now getting noisy, sounds like a bearing noise. So I have now moved that unit to another room in the house and the new unit to our main lounge kitchen area. New unit is quiet as anything. Definitely recommend.

I am going to put one in all the bedrooms. It’s so quiet on sleep mode and I only use the plasma when someone gets virus and so far I haven’t caught anything when family sick - touch wood! I also notice when someone sprays perfume or cooks the light changes to red indicating air quality change which proved to me it is doing what it promises. I got mine from Harvey Norman as they are great if something goes wrong and can order filter replacements.

They won't respond to my enquiries about this via phone, email, Facebook, and online. I haven't used the unit so far. I'm not sure what to do. The box was also delivered with the label on the bottom of the box. Because of this, I doubt that I received an original item. I want to return it and get my money back. I haven't used the item. I've never seen such poor customer service. I really need an air purifier but I don't trust that I have received a new item and I don't trust this company any more. received a Winix 360 air purifier. The company was notified immediately and I was told my original order would be shipped and they would organise for the incorrect item to be collected the next day. I took a day off work as they required me to be here from 9am to 5pm for their courier. This did not happen. And then the show really began. When I called them again, I was told that my order would not be shipped until the incorrect unit was returned. Strangely enough, after 6 days, my original order arrived. They had Startrack call me twice to arrange me to stay home and wait for them again. Of course I refused based on their track record. Then I received a threatening email (see image attached) that they were going to charge my credit card if I did not get the unit back to them. And so I offered my reply (image also attached). Finally someone senior stepped in (potentially when they realised the unit they had sent me was $600) and asked me to leave the unit outside in my driveway for their courier to pick up on Friday. Apparently even someone senior made no difference as the unit still remains unsecured, uncovered and uninsured in our driveway. So to anyone who may be considering one of their products, do so at your own risk because I can assure you, their customer service is embarrassingly non existent.

I am rather technologically capable, I still struggled to get the device to connect to my network despite following the instructions carefully. I spent an hour unboxing, reading instructions and familiarising myself with the buttons and features of the device. I then spent another hour alone attempting to get the device connected to my wifi after downloading the Winix App. After the initial struggle and repeating the process numerous times, I eventually got connected.
I cycled through some settings, where I noted that the turbo fan speed is incredibly fast and noisy but obviously draws in a lot. With the device in my large rumpus room, I set it to auto mode where I left it to do its magic. I left it here for a couple of days and checked in now and again to find the air quality was maintained at good.
After a few days I relocated it to my bedroom where it would stay. This room is used more and is in the centre of the house. When I began using it here, I noticed a difference in the air quality, now labelled as fair. I opened my window and left the device to run on auto. After some time, maybe a few hours I came back to see that the air quality had improved a lot and was now good to very good.
I love that the Winix is quick to react to changes in air quality. One time I noticed the fan speed pick up dramatically and checked to see that the air quality had dropped. I had my window slightly ajar and when I went outside I noticed the smell of smoke in the air from a neighbour burning off. A common observation I made was that often while cooking dinner on the gas stove the air quality would drop and the fan would pick up speed. One night, the Salmon for dinner burnt, creating a fair bit of smoke. The Winix immediately sensed this. The indicator ring turned red and the air quality dropped to poor. I also noticed that when anyone sprays aerosol deodorant in the same or nearby rooms, the Winix rapidly reacts in the same manner.
Prior to using the Winix, I would often wake up with a blocked nose. I was hopeful that maybe this would mean I would be waking up with clear airways although I still found my nose to be blocked and haven’t noticed a significant difference respiratory wise.
One thing I love best about the Winix is its sleep mode. I have a number of other household devices that I cannot run at night due to the noise and me being a light sleeper. I am pleased to say the sleep mode is incredibly quiet and I had no trouble sleeping with it on. Whilst I don’t physically feel any better or worse having used the Winix for a month now, I am happy to say that I will continue using it and my mind is at rest knowing the air quality is being monitored.

plenty of cat hair and dust from the air. We also use it sometimes in our bedrooms for dust removal. In terms of company service, I recently asked AusClimate if they had a spare cover for the dust lens, as the lugs had broken off over years of use. They didn't have any as they said this rarely breaks, but then organised to send me one from South Korea at no cost. THAT is 'old-fashioned service', and is such a contrast to many companies who don't seem to care much about their customers. I am very happy with both the product and the service.

is not upto their usual standard. The filter motor only lasted 3 months before packing it in. I'm still waiting to hear back from Winix. It's been 3 months since it stopped working. I scanned product forums and discovered that this is a common problem with this model. Very happy. We purchased after all the rain we experienced in Qld. Having mildew and white mould in our bedroom. We also have a fluffy cat. For years my husband coughed all night and now he has stopped only after a few days of set up. I found the instructions a bit confusing but there are some great you tubes to watch on it. Well, so here we go, ordered, picked one up and was very optimistic and excited to say the least. One day and then the next day and then one week later cleaned all the filters and 30 days later changed the Dog filter.
What can I say. We placed it in his bedroom which was less than <30 sq meter, we placed it in open which is around 80 sq meter (picture 4 even says 'great for extra-large rooms up to 100m2). Nothing happened.
As a health professional I would take a 10% reduction in symptom burden. Not that he did not take antihistamies (nasal and oral). Absolutely disappointing.
Would I recommend this product- NO. I mean 10% symptom reduction is not an unrealistic value. But nothing at all is not acceptable. Does the product 'do what is claims to do under Australian Consumer law': NO As a health professional can I suggest this to my patients: NO Will I accept this product if given for free- NO
