Beware [Name Removed] & Brisbane Shade Solutions - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM – Do NOT deal with this individual or company. We paid over $6.5K as a deposit back in April 2023 following a very slick presentation at our home complete with samples and have had nothing delivered or installed since, only lie after lie. Eventually after we lost our patience following two installation no shows, he then claimed he was in financial difficulty but would re-imburse us through a loan from his mother based in Greece if we could wait a week or two. When I asked if I could at least take possession of the products we had paid for back in April 2023 he stated that this was not possible leading me to believe that they were never ordered in the first place. I then also discovered that the business premises apparently located at Stones Corner in Brisbane was also nonexistent. Anyway, he promised to get back to us but following my discovery of this review page and fronting him on it via messenger, especially the large amounts of money and people he has [Content Removed] well prior to [Content Removed] us, but he has gone totally silent. As a result, I am lodging a theft/[Content Removed] complaint with the police (complete with his Facebook, LinkedIn profile and various bits of other relevant information i have gathered over the past month) and am keen to hear from anyone that can provide me with any additional information or dealings they have had with [Name Removed] which I can include. I am also considering a class action against him commercially and would welcome feedback.

delays, poor installation, awning coming off – Dealt with this company in 2021. After months of waiting, awning was installed, poorly. screws to be put in before I will pay in full, and the company owner rang me and actually threatened to rip all my awnings off if I don't pay. Finally the installer came back and put in the required screws on the brackets and I made payment in full. I always pay my bills on time. I enquired about warranty in my email and over the phone and owner verbally told me there is warranty on product and installation, but nothing written on invoice or in email. 2 years later, the awning is falling off. That awning is hardly even used and it is falling off. I tried ringing the company and I note that the website is still operational, but the phone was not connected.

DO NOT PURCHASE BLINDS FROM THIS COMPANY – Paid our deposit 5 months ago, still have no blinds. Multiple excuses. Multiple promises regarding an installation date. But we are still waiting. Have resigned ourselves to the fact that we will likely never receive our deposit back and never have the blind installed. Show details

No invoice no receipt no product – We ordered items in March. Patiently waited contacted them in June. Promises made. But not product E-mails bounced back. Contacted again in August asking for copies of invoices and receipts. Never received lots of promises and emails bounced back. I have asked for a full refund. Or our next step is the ACCC, ATO and probably ACA. Show details

ripped off and suffer months of stress. Do not believe any positive reviews or the 4.5 stars. These guys are liars and crooks. We had their salesman [Name Removed] give us a quote and on 19th june he quoted us 3 weeks delivery for an outdoor awning. We subsequently paid deposit and order fee (80%) of the total. That should have been our warning. For being gullible and falling for his smooth talking we are now out of pocket over $4200 with absolutely nothing to show for it. Phone calls are never answered. We requested an installation date on the 26th of June, we were still trying to get hold of [Name Removed] or [Name Removed] by the 10th July. Finally got a text message saying installation would be done 3rd August. 28th of July we get another text advising us installation would be 7th August. No surprises that no one showed up to install our awning. After more than 12 phone calls in 1 day we finally got hold of [Name Removed] by email. He was so surprised at what had happened, maintained that [Name Removed] no longer works there and he knows nothing about our installation. Not a great manager if he doesn't know what is going on in his business. He said he'd investigate and get back to us. ANOTHER LIE. The address shown on their website is an empty shop that they've moved out of. They just want big deposits and then disappear. They are shonky crooks and should not be trusted at all. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY. Read other reviews and you will see the same comments by disgruntled victims of this scam company. [Name Removed] is very quick to respond when someone is attacking him and his dishonest business but not so quick to do a job or return money. Karma will make sure these dodgy people get what they deserve. They have been report to ACCC, Office of Fair Trading and QBCC. Watch [Name Removed] now try and bully me when he sees this review, I'm telling the truth, something he doesn't do. Just give me my money back [Name Removed]!

Do not use this company – My mother always taught me if you cant say anything nice, don't say anything at all, however in this case I must write a review as I would not want anyone else to go through the MONTHS of distress and false promises I was given. calls to an office that never answered their phone, or return calls when promised they would, 3 no-shows to install the blinds, I finally got my blinds half installed, only after threatening legal action. Following installation, the blinds did not work as the electrician I had paid for and promised would be organised through this company never showed and in fact was never organised by them. I had to organise the electrician myself, otherwise my blinds would still not be working. I have had to let that money go for my own sanity as I could no longer fight with this company. Save you money and sanity and go with a company that actually delivers the service promised.

Do not use this company – I had two motorised outdoor patio blinds installed with a smart hub which doesn’t actually work with the motors. I was charged over $500 for the wifi bridge (which doesn’t control the blinds properly). The company refused to refund me the wifi bridge and insisted on replacing the motors. After numerous attempts to replace the motors and many empty promises the problem has not been fixed. Show details

some blades and they sag. I have been contacted by other people with the same experience. Do not use this company.

I ordered shutters on 13 October 22 and was told they would be installed by Christmas. After many phone calls to [Name Removed], half were installed on 27 January. Half did not fit and had to be re-ordered. I was told this would take 3 weeks. It is now April and I am still waiting. [Name Removed] has ensured I have paid every step of the way so he is quick to take my money but not as fast to deliver. [Name Removed] has many different excuses but the bottom line is that he has not delivered what he has promised. I just want what I have paid for.

Agreed with the first reviewer!!! DO NOT TRUST this company !!!! – You will regret the moment you pay your first deposit. In my case, it's not been resolved yet and it has been nearly 9 months. been in this business for nearly 20 years. Right now, my case is at the mercy of the authority to deal with this company.

Now my concern is when it is resolved (IF it is ever going to), I will be very worried about the warranty. Please do not choose this company.

Avoid the company like the plague – Protracted wait time 6 weeks turned into 6 months. Property damaged during install. Installers did not show up on day of install with no phone call or explanation. Extremely poor communication and managers very rude and difficult to deal with. Nightmare experience - which ended up in small claims. I also know 3 other individuals who have used this company who have ALL have a similar experience- HORRENDOUS!
