Westral is by far the worst company I have had to deal with. I needed security doors replaced at my new home, got a measure & quote in Aug/Sep 2025. I was told 2-3 week manufacture and install time. My sliding doors were barely installed in early Oct 2025. The installer had no idea what they were doing, spent all day doing two doors and a window screen. He pointed out that my door frame wasn't perfectly square, then just took off, left a bunch of metal shavings and screws everywhere inside and outside of my door frames. I identified exposed drill holes all throughout the framework on both doors due to him constantly readjusting it, the latch wasn't working so the door didn't stay closed, and to top it all off the frames were installed incorrectly and I couldn't lock my glass sliding doors.

I contacted the office the following day to advise that the doors needed fixing. It took all of a month before the installation manager finally decided to visit in Nov 2025. Upon arrival he pointed out everything that was wrong, and said he will get someone back here to fix it all, under his supervision. Again, it took all of ANOTHER month until a second installer made it to my home in Dec 2025. He arrived alone (without the manager), repaired one door, and then said the second door was cut too short so the daga bar and the back plate couldn't be put on, leaving it a "glorified fly screen" according to them. A strong breeze could send the door flying off its railing, and I could rip it off the track with little effort.

I have called Westral countless times over the last three months demanding that my doors be repaired to the highest standard, and every time I am fed "the manager isn't in at the moment but we'll follow it up for you and call you back". Every single person I have spoken to has not called me back.

The accounts team have sent me invoices of my account as due and I have replied that not a dollar more will be paid until I receive the goods and service that I paid for. This has been a dreadful experience. It has been almost FOUR months, and I'm still waiting for my second door to be fixed.

to fill the existing holes where Venetian blinds were removed and asked us questions to help ensure the right decisions were enacted on the day. Angus made the whole process easy by advising us on how he was going to proceed at each step but didn't make it difficult to understand. He gave interesting information on our new shutters from a wealth of knowledge and even went the extra mile to ensure everything was spotlessly clean and tidy after moving on from the job.

Five days on from the install, Angus's experience handling timber shutters really shines through with the finish. The install is looking super crisp, the edges are flush and are merging fantastic with the existing structure. The work he has done gives off a show of top quality craftsmanship, a luxury touch to our main living space! If you are in need of an expert job then I would highly recommend Angus for your next install of timber shutters.

over all have not had a pleasant experience with Westral. Ordered 5 vertical blinds and 2 security front doors. 4 blinds were good, but the 5th had to be returned 3 times to get it right. First the overall width was too long, then the cord was too long, and the vertical strips were too long. How hard is it. Then the security doors were made but… Read more

didn't match each other with the grill pattern. They were taken off and apparently re made, re fitted, they do look good now. A little compensation was offered for the blinds but nothing for the doors. Not a pleasant experience.

This would have to be one of the worst companies I have had to deal with in terms of communication. Ordered 2 Shade Tract Awnings in October 2025 told 4-6 weeks. installation dates cancelled and rebooked. Finally installed on 21 January 2026. I lodged an email complaining about the time delay (3months) and lack of communication and never even got an acknowledgement let alone a response. Would never use again or recommend.
