quote took time, sat down with us and explained the process of how shutters are made (of marine grade) and demonstrated with the samples he brought. We tested the quality and all questions were answered with his sound knowledge. Installation was done professionally and the electrician was super efficient. They left the place neat and tidy. After sales call was reassuring, they reminded us about maintenance and assured us of their ongoing support. Neighbours admired the shutters and I told them to take a photo of their sign displayng on my lawn. My children confirmed that those shutters prevent heat and light through their windows resulting in them having a good sleep. I felt safe with all shutters down when I went overseas. If anyone has a seniors card, the govt gives rebates up to $400 for security doors or roller shutters. In summary, I would definitely recommend OzShut to anyone exploring options.

Once signed, things moved fast. I was told the shutters could be turned around in under a week and, surprisingly, that promise was actually delivered. Michelle and the in-house team were efficient, organised, and clearly knew how to get things done. The new shutters look great and do exactly what they’re meant to do.
A special mention must go to Mal, who installed them, genuinely kind, professional, and a rare breed of tradie who cleans up after himself. He moved things out of the way, put them back where they belonged, and left the place tidy. After the last few months of tradies at my home… this alone deserves five stars.
My only real issue came with the OzShutter electrician who disconnected them. The wires were pulled out so enthusiastically that it created an issue for the reconnection not ideal when you’re sitting there with zero security or privacy and being told that shutters might be non-functional for up to 15 days (which, to be fair, they do flag).
Thankfully, OzShutters handled this well. The reconnection fee was credited back without fuss, which I appreciated, and I had my own sparky on site within the hour to get everything working again the same day.
So... would I recommend them? Yes, with eyes open.
Great product that sounds out against their market competitors. Fast turnaround. Just brace yourself for the initial sales pitch… and maybe keep your wallet in a locked drawer until you’ve had a cuppa and a think.

OzShutters for all my roller shutters round my house, that I purchased over 8 years ago. Now I can sit outside and not worry about the rain or the extreme heat , whilst I sit outside I even claimed a warranty repair and they came out to fix my issue straight away.
Follow-up · The shutters block out all the elements and it creates another small living space, especially blocking out the rain and wind. Its extremely easy to use , just twisting the knobs left or right to open and close

This company did a great job, installed on the arranged day and tidy, clean up after having to drill through brick walls. Did need to have a strap replaced about 2 months later but they were there the next day. Can't fault them for sales, installation, repair and the regular follow up to check everything is working. and heat in the summer and keeping the heat or cool air in when I either have the heater on in the winter or Air con on in the summer and it has given me extra security when I am away at work as I am a FIFO worker. There is only one I will say about my blinds I hard installed 10 years ago is that I am disappointed in the salesperson didn't suggest getting electric for my front blinds as the windows were quite big and had a lot of problems with the ropes breaking and getting stuck midway when putting them down. I just felt for the size of the window the blinds were too heavy for manual operation, but Oz shut were very responsive to come out and fix every time they stuffed up and broke. I have since upgraded them to electric and has been well worth it.

the Quote and before commencing manufacture, a Technician visited to double-check the window and shutter measurements. The actual Installer, Dave, was on time, and proved to be an extremely capable and well organised tradesperson...he also did an excellent job of cleaning up his work areas. In a relatively short time, he had installed the shutters and the operating switches inside the house...we were given a thorough run-thru on their operation. Although there was a short delay before our shutters could be installed, overall, we are really impressed with OzShut's high quality product and the procedures they have in place...from quoting, technical and sales support, through to installation, they have a competent team representing them. There's no doubt, we absolutely made the right choice to have OzShut install our shutters!

O shut roller shutter was the best decision we’ve made in the upgrades to our new home. We’ve had both front windows installed with shutters it’s kept out the heat the light and reduces the sound, which is great as we live on a busy street. 4 blinds installed. 1 had jammed motor and one had crosswind. Shorted one of my wiring circuits. 4 weeks to fix. After weeks of the electrician visiting and testing, the original electrician couldn't find why I had the short. testing and fix by the other electrical contractor. It should be noted that i had 2 extension cords coming in from my carport for the whole time i was without dome power in the house. Weeks later was called by ozshut to ask about my experience and after telling him all I got was a half hearted apology and nothing. He said obviously the manager had called to discuss, but he hadn't. I may finish the rest of my windows in the future but I definitely won't be using ozshut.
