Went to Bunbury Farmers Market today, normally with my carer/hubby but he was out of action so I shopped alone. I have a disability, bad hips/back, fibromyalgia, chronic pain and always struggle with shopping trolleys.- I pay the price for days later..But today I found that Bunbury Farmers Mkt had purchased new SMALLER trolleys..might have been there a week or so but they were new to me since my last visit a fortnight or so ago. A BIG thank you to management for this consideration. I'm sure it will make a lot of difference to people with a disability, the elderly or just those who want to do a smaller shop and don't want to lug a basket around or struggle with a big heavy trolley. It might only be a small thing to some but its a major leap for me. I know supermarkets have had smaller trolleys for years and they may be taken for granted by most people, but a quiet thank you to them too. I did my normal shop, with a lovely clean, new, SMALLER trolley with no wobbly wheels and for once I went home with no more pain than I arrived with. Thanks again Bunbury Farmers Market top job..now that is great customer service!! ** Now all we need are more ACROD parking days please.

I usually always write positive reviews for the BFM but last week was most disappointed when I got home from my f/tly shop (having spent a good $200) to open not 1 but 2 packets of their biscuits..ANZACS and Gingernuts to find them both soft and tasting like uncooked mix. I rang to tell them but the girl just said well you can only get a refund if you have the receipt (which I did) and bring them back..being someone who suffers chronic pain and not willing to drive for a 3/4 hour round trip for biscuits I said that's OK I wont do that, I think it's more important you know I dont think the biscuits were cooked long enough. She went and spoke to her supervisor and came back and said " they are supposed to be soft!". Well I'm sorry but I totally disagree. We have bought those biscuits on many occasions from the BFM (although in themselves not cheap but our treat)... they have never been soft before and traditionally ANZACS & gingernuts are a crisp (& ANZACS sometimes chewy if home made but not soft) biscuits...they wouldn't have lasted long if they were sent off to the soldiers back in the day if they were moist & soggy... I wonder how many biscuits are cooked in a batch and how many dissatisfied customers dont say anything but never go back?? Will I buy them again..not sure..might have to open them in the store and test them before driving home..they are usually beautiful biscuits- a 5 star product but not today. I just thought their kitchen might have been interested..maybe a new baker, maybe cutting back on cooking time . Who knows.

Follow-up  · As Product Review is asking for a followup here it is. Haven't heard from the Bunbury Farmers Market about the biscuits and nor have we bought any more. At nearly $10 a packet as pensioners they were a special treat so haven't and won't buy any more - we cant take yhe chance..that's lost revenue for BFM but it wont be coming out of my pocket! But on the positive side I would like to compliment the staff member from Vasse Farmers Mkt who is apparently now making the prawn cocktails..the sauce is lighter, runnier and there is more of it. Its excellent (not that the other one wasn't great this is just different).5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It would be good to have them every day.. I will always be a good customer. The checkout staff are always very polite and helpful too..obviously well trained so⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to them too.
