It's hard for me to understand their trading model... I never heard of them before... always used Repco and Supercheap... decided to check them out, e.g. products and pricing... the website is unusable.. it's like you cannot see what they've got... I wanted battery by the way... the physical store in Tuggeranong... I got the address.. I was 5… Read more

metres away... I had to get closer to see the sign written in font 14... it's like these guys do not want to do business with you... what's the story here? Puzzled...

Paid double the price and the light globe didn't last long. Will not come back.

Rude, incompetent and offensive staff. Appalling warranty backup. No wonder the only rate 14% approval in reviews. Go to Repco and save yourself the bother.

Prices have doubled – Used to be a great place to shop but prices are now double or triple other shops.

Shop around before buying at Bursons – Always shop around before buying from this chain. They may not be competitive. I bought Bosch Aerotwin wipers there for more than $60 each side. I was charged singly but found I could have bought them elsewhere together as a pack , for about half the price. Silly me .

Helpful and friendly – I am a regular customer at FTG, I can’t recommend this shop enough. The best thing about the place would have to be the fact that I’m already greeted by a helpful friendly staff member that is willing to help me. They bend over backwards to help me out even by carrying heavy items to my car for me (as I’m unable to lift) Thanks you again to all the amazing staff at FTG, you have a wonderful team. From your crazy hat lover.

High prices for retail customers – I went to the Albany store and was quoted $94 for a Ryco Z372 oil filter. I was a bit startled at the [rice so refused the transaction - then called their Kelmscott store and was quoted $57.20. I sent an email to the company and got a prompt call back. The reason was : The Kelmscott store gave the wholesale customer price and should not have done… Read more

that. We do 90% of our trade with wholesale so don't really support retail. We charge high prices to retail so that we can charge lower prices to our wholesale customers. My response was that obviously I won't go to Bursons if they have that policy. His response was essentially you are not wholesale so we don't care.

It's anybody's guess what you'll be paying – I went to Burson west Gosford this morning after some motor oil. Sure enough, I found the oil section in the store, but NONE of it had any prices on the shelves it was on, like any other normal auto store would. So for me, no more Burson.

Abusive employee at sunshine store – I bought an item at the Sunshine store, and I was abused by a staff member there, I notified head office and I was told someone will call me back. No good will here – Three trips to the Nambour store for simple wiper blades. Firstly I was given the wrong ones, despite telling my exact car model. They were too narrow = wrong type and also too short! The too short was replaced with one that was long enough - still the wrong diameter. 3rd trip, I was refused any good will with regards to them correcting their own… Read more

mistake. They made me pay for replacement. 3 different Staff members I dealt with were also quite obtuse. No longer will shop there, I do not recommend.

Ford Fiesta Clutch – Needed a clutch replacement in a hurry due to unexpected failure of slave cylinder inside gearbox on Thursday .Rang around all the usual suspects only to be told part is Special order 3-5 days delivery time , Burson found to have a Excedy clutch on the shelf locally , very nearly bought this part for a gob smacking $690 retail , $620 trade ,… Read more

luckly I found out about another brake and clutch supplier locally and bought the same part Excedy clutch from them same day on the shelf for $385 I really can’t see how burson can can justify price gouging on this scale , pays to shop around.

Buyer beware!! … Shop around – Needed a cabin air filter over the counter in a hurry … no time to research a fair price. My mistake! … didn’t expect to be ripped off this much. Paid $51.95 at Bursons Maroochydore. Super cheap have same item for $35, Autobahn $36. Overcharging to this extent is short term thinking … I won’t be back. Once bitten, twice shy. (Btw …. online for $23 delivered if you can wait). Positives, in store service was good and the filter fits.

Always Expensive and own branded name products inferior – I have paid more than competitor pricing for same products .... up to 70% more on numerous occassions. Home branded products are inferior to other Aust made similar products. In store service is good but when you feel ripped off, you better consider alternatives like Autobarn, Repco or Supercheap. Time for a change.
