Campmor Safari Hennie

Amazing quality and even better seller! – This is the Campmor quality I was looking for and had it shipped half way around the world because of that. Amazing products that stand the test of time. The flysheet matched up great on my 22 year old Campmor tent.

What a tent!! – I finally was able to away for a trip in my new Hennie. What a tent!! Everything about it was outstanding. Setting it up solo for the first time was a pretty quick and simple process. For pretty much all of the first night and half the second day away I had winds of around 30kts constant and gusts to 45kts. I could hear the gusts coming through the trees for about five seconds before they hit and the Hennie stood solid, it didn’t look like moving. I felt like I was in a cabin not a tent. Everything from the quality of material to the workmanship is first class. Such an amazing product, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
Solid tent – We purchased the Campmor Safari Hennie after years of using compact light weight tents suited to motortorcycle touring. This tent is the opposite, being made from heavy canvas and PVC. The pole system is powder coated steel. Setup is slow compared to some other tents but once up, it is bombproof. The clips that hold the tent to the poles can be difficult to attach but a pair of pliers fixes that. Ours hasn't leaked and has been through a fairly heavy storm. Ventilation is just ok. The tent was expensive so we hope to get value for money through longevity. So far, it looks like going the distance.
