The kalbarri lite rooftop tent is a no brainer when it comes to camping and 4wding, it takes 30 seconds to set up with its 2 latches and basically pops up automatically. I’ve used this tent over 10 times and I can say I’ve had a comfortable sleep all nights. The tent is slim as ever and because of that it doesn’t make any noise or whistles on my… Read more
roof. On 3 of my trips it rained pretty heavily and the tent stood its ground perfectly as it should and I didn’t get a single drop inside. Would definitely recommend this tent to any camper or off-roader. Cheers

Having owned my San Hima Kalbarri Lite rooftop tent for almost a year, I am loving the sleek and lightweight design. When choosing a rooftop tent, I was very interested in a low profile and lightweight tent that I could easily fit into my garage and undercover carparks and the Kalbarri Lite easily allows that. At just 116mm it was one of the… Read more
lowest profiles I could find.
The tent is super reliable and comfortable. I have paired the Kalbarri Lite with the San Hima mattress topper which delivers a comfortable nights sleep. I have also added the San Hima rack for the top of the tent for additional storage options.
After 12 months use and many camping trips, I highly recommend the San Hima Kalbarri Lite rooftop tent for design, lightweight and especially value for money.
Great price, light weight, can be difficult to attach to roof rack if you have a flat panel not the cross bars. But for the price it is great.
Great tent! It's been used over 100 nights already, been thrashed down some pretty rough tracks and been used in storms. It's been brilliant. Highly recommend. Show details
Have used the tent for about 10 times. Really happy with it. I'm 194cm tall and fit in well. Absolutely love the full blackout feature and the built in light. Can and will recommend for anyone looking for a slim and sleek rooftop tent. Show details

I’ve had this kalbarri lite rooftop tent for a year (Nov 2024) and it’s been brilliant. I’m just under 6’1” /185cm and fit no problem, my 2 kids love it and it takes seconds to pop up leaving just the two porch fly sheet poles to slot in which again takes seconds. The LED light is great and has 3 settings to suit what brightness style you want , 2… Read more
handy pockets, ceiling pockets, great ventilation and viewing windows and a handy shoe bag and a really good ladder and storage bag. The mattress is comfortable and I have not needed to add anything. This low profile hard shell aluminium rooftop tent is so low that I’ve been able to keep my van at 2.1 meters and am able to go into most car parks and no touch car wash. We are very happy with it and I would definitely recommend it.
I have this rooftop for over 12 months now without an issue. I researched others as I was trying to balance spec with overall height as I needed to keep under 2.2m to fit under a carpark for my work. It has been great, no issues at all and looks way better than the huge ones you see driving around.

This is exactly what I wanted. The slim RTT with dark colored, have a rack bar attached, and truly comfortable on all terrain. It weights only 60kg and is easy to install in your car. Show details

bought item specifically because of the height of the tent, works a treat for a single person, with two people or a taller than average person, you find the area where it pivots is a little cramped. other than that been great, help up to the weather and all the flaps up can block out the sun for a day time snooze Show details
I've used the San Hima Kalbarri Lite tent for a total of 10 trips, ranging from 1 to 7 days each, and it has performed excellently across various conditions. I have used it as far north as Cape York and as far south as the Great Ocean Road. From my experience, this tent is a reliable and practical choice for both short and extended trips. The… Read more
tent holds up exceptionally well in adverse weather. I’ve used it in rain and hail, and it didn’t skip a beat. The fabric is durable, and the structure stands strong even in gusty winds.
The built-in LED light strip with color-changing options (between white and yellow) is a game-changer, especially for evening camping. The storage pockets are also a great touch for keeping small essentials organized and easily accessible.
The setup and pack down process could not be simpler. The tent has a quick pop-up system, and you just click the latches to set it up—literally takes a minute. Packing it away is just as easy. It’s perfect for anyone who values convenience and speed when setting up camp.
Overall, the San Hima Kalbarri Lite is a fantastic, hassle-free tent that delivers on durability, functionality, and ease of use. It’s my go-to choice for camping, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and practical option for their outdoor adventures.
Love this rooftop tent. Was looking for a slim line and light rooftop and this was the perfect one. Can still fit a quilt and sleeping bags in it and the mattress is nice and comfy. Have recommended it to many people and had lots of compliments on it. Show details
High build quality, strong and light which was very important to me considering I've put it on top of a Suzuki jimny. Was initially very worried about getting a rooftop tent for such a little car but this one has worked perfectly especially for 1 or 2 nights at a time. If your looking to camp for more than 2 nights at a time you might want to… Read more
consider a heavier duty rooftop tent as this one maximizes on the 'lite" but for me it has been perfect.

Great fit on my canopy. Very low profile and extremely simple to set up and put down in less than two minutes. Hasn’t leaked a drop and been very reliable. Used it many times over the last 12months and can’t fault. Show details
