Cannondale Synapse 5 - right choice? – Upgrading from 2006 Giant OCR2 with full Shimano 105 groupset, WH-560 wheels & Conti GP4000s tyres. Looked at a whole bunch of bikes (Bianchi, Merida, Giant, Wilier, Norco, Focus and Opera). Decided on Synapse 5 and not regretted decision, rides beautifully, faster through corners, ascends better and is 3-4kph faster on the flats. Do a lot of century rides, I want performance with comfort, Cannondale really delivers. Great performance and comfortable - SAVE suspension technology works
