Completely disgusting...they should be ashamed of themselves – The Chinese Restaurant in the club was atrocious regarding their serving size. They want your money but they refuse to give you what you pay for. The so called specials only had half a handful of meat in the dish. I mean you pay an arm and a leg for your meal and all you get is onion and abit of capsicum for a black bean and beef dish. Do they know how hard it is to earn $20 these days? you have to work real hard with blood sweat and tears to receive $20 these days. And they can take and demand the money so easily but refuse to put a decent amount of food on your plate. That is completely disgusting. They should be ashamed of themselves for rortting people out of their money like that.

Inner West Oasis – My very first time visiting this RSL club. The inviting foyer, well staffed, greeted my group of four visitors. We were helped, checking in and registering, and were confronted with a very comfortable longue area, coffee shop, bistro and bar, Further afield, a modern area for pokies and smokers (separate room). An auditorium and another large function area called the Arena. We came to see a live show, "Cracker Comedy" on every Wednesday. We played the machines for a short while, and made the mandatory donation to the club, then were ushered to our table. We decided to have a snack, and were happy to receive, excellent service, both at the bar, and at the table. The food was great, and reasonably priced. The show started, and stand up comedy is alive and well in Canterbury RSL. We laughed through the whole show. I can heartily recommend a night out at this friendly and comfortable RSL. The venue offers a complete night out with very good food choices, and live shows, movies and dancing sometimes...and of course those pokies. Parking is across the road just around the corner.
