Disgusting A waste of Consumers money and Customer Service -10 – Unfortunately we were caught bad product, no customer service, no return response, and no government assistance on a company allowed to sell faulty products, they have finically hurt a lot of Australian families broken promises and differently broken product, it's a crime.

What a disgrace – I am at a loss to explain why doesn't the Government take some responsibility and offer some type of assistance to us consumers that were promised cheaper bills with the purchase of the panels.The government funded the 'scheme' by way of rebates......but no real benefit to us consumers......Cost of 9 panels in 2011...$19830:00......WHAT A GREAT RIPOFF. SORRY I ALLOWED MYSELF TO BE HOODWINKED BY A LOT OF HYPE.....SURE AM.

disgraceful – We bought 9 panels at the cost of $9,000 dollar five year ago and did not save on anything. Still paying high electricity. Not happy at all as the panel are only 185 watts. Now we have to look for something else just to save on electricity, might have to fork out more money to get better solar panels, also had to get a new invert-er as the one installed stopped working. Its just a joke that the government allows this to have to people.

Rip off merchants – Pathetic operation, got no rebates from them then went into liquidation. Apparently all customers were supposed to be notified by the liquidators but I got nothing, don't know if anyone else did but I doubt it. Very hard not to be aggressive or personal when someone does something like this to everyone that purchased solar from him.

So Disappointed – We too have been bitten by this company - wish we had read these reviews first. They NEVER return calls or emails & we have had no money back from them for our supposed rebate. Now I'm worried that our inverter will play up too - so annoyed & very disappointed with this company. Reporting to fair trading is next.

Pathetic – Sold the world, received hell back. Don't return calls. Have a list 3 sheets long of calls made and not returned. 2 years in 5 panels faulty. Inverters faulty - paid $150 for both to be replaced, although there was a recall and Capital should of paid for these, they claimed that they had a case before the courts as they couldn't afford to pay… Read more

The saleman completely mis-sold the product. Our bills keep going up and because we are on Solar, we are not receiving any real discounts from the electricity supplier because and I quote "you are on solar, you should have enough to generate your own electricity" We get $0.06c for a massive $15 credit! Total Crap, Don't touch them. Taking them to the NSW FTD tomorrow morning.

Completely Unprofessional and Unresponsive – Please do not use this company! We signed a contract 14 months ago. The company contracted to pay us 25c for each kW our system exported to the grid for a three year period. This was in addition to the 5c per kW government rebate from our energy provider. Additionally, a few weeks ago, the Macsolar inverter installed by the company failed and we've had to replace it with another inverter at our cost as Capital Solar will not return calls and Macsolar themselves are no longer in business - hence No warrenty. We have complained to NSW Fair Trading who could not convince the company to meet its contractual obligations. Consequently, we have a second hearing scheduled with the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Capital Solar did not turn up for the first hearing. So, do your research thoroughly before you choose a solar installer, and make sure the inverters used have a good reputation and a good warranty. It's lucky we didn't agree to their $200 a year 'maintenance' payment. If others have similar problems with this company, register your complaint with Fair Trading.

Waiting for service for 4 months now! – Our solar panels were installed over 18 months ago and we were reasonably happy with the savings. Don't go near them – Four months( July) ago we signed a contract with Capital Solar. Two months ago they installed the panels only and tricked me into releasing the finance.It's now early November and I still don't have a working solar system. I have been to fair trading who have a special case officer for this company but not getting very far. They offer the world but deliver nothing.

STILL PAYING FOR POWER – We where told if we got 8 solar panels, we will have no bill but at $0.08 Buyback per kwh its not worth it. At $15000.00 NOT GOOD VALUE, People looking to get solar on ring your electricity supplyer and find out how much they are paying for Buy back per kwh. We made 533kwh for 82 days at $0.08 per kwh we got $42.64 NOT WORTH IT. NOT WORTH THE MONEY
