Absolutely rude lady (with accent) to start with then they try rip people off with over inflated products. Can buy the same online for half the price. Hard to keep money local when they are rip off merchants. Show details
Great service and professional work – Brakes stopped working on my caravan, rang Capricorn caravans Rockhampton and they were able to look at the van the next day. They diagnosed the problem and found all four brake assembly’s and drums needed replacing. Good service and professional job, thanks to the team at Capricorn caravans. Show details
Top service – Had a major 12 volt issue with our motorhome on the way up from eastern Victoria. Dropped in to Capricorn on Friday en route to Yeppoon, said they could look at it Monday, which they did. Problem solved, and got some great advice on how to avoid the problem again. Can’t speak highly enough of Natasha and Shane. Show details
Fixed perfectly – Grey nomads travelling. Broken annex leg and concerned it would fall off. Phoned and the reception area were friendly and happy to assist us. Drove into yard and was immediately greeted by a "very good tradesman". Solved our problem erected a new leg and gone in 20 minutes, and reasonable rates to boot. Cannotspeak highly enough Show details
They saved us from not knowing what to do – We arrived in Rockhampton with a serious brake issue (new brakes installed in Brisbane). Natasha organised to fitting us in and Shane and the crew worked on getting us back on the road. This was no small job. Everything was done with a smile and most reasonable rates. We are very thankful and happy with how everything was managed to assist us. Show details
Top service – Such wonderful, helpful staff to get you back on the road. With the pandemic lock downs, product shortages and supply chain issues, Shane and staff have bent over backwards to solve our issues. We couldn’t be happier and have seen such positive staff-customer interactions when in the store. Super friendly, exceedingly helpful and lots of knowledge… Read more
to inspire and keep us caravanners safely on the road. Would recommend this company to anyone local or travelling through.

Do not trust these people with your van – My Newlands Tourist 650 van was booked in for a week to have water damage to an internal wall a fix (shower had not been sealed correctly), a window fly screen replaced and a list of repairs under warranty. The van was returned 11 days later. The workmanship to the wall is an embarrassment and thus has instantly devalued the van, the window was… Read more
not replaced (they hadn't ordered it even though I went in twice to talk to them about doing it prior to the booking) and the list was not done. I have provided proof of all issues on the list direct to Concept head office. I offered my van back for 2 days to fix everything but Capricorn Caravan Centre want my van back for 2 days just to fix the wall and looked at the rest. Then, once Concept approve the repairs under warranty, they'll order parts required and then expect the van back again once parts arrive. Who knows how many times the van will go back and for how long. Problem I'm not made of money and live full time in this van (would have to stay at a motel), that was purchased from Capricorn Caravan Centre Feb 2021. Also part of the deal of the sale was that Capricorn Caravan Centre collect and return the van for warranty and repairs but because I went direct to Concept that deal has been removed; now I know why they didn't put it in the contract of sale.
Dishonest – I would strongly suggest that caravanners and motorhomers ...( like myself ) give these people a “big wide berth”. ...I went in with an awning that wouldn’t work ...a work shop man came out had a look and said it needed a part and he would order it ...went inside came back out and said the boss said I have to have a whole new awning ......I said… Read more
go ahead and send the quote to my insurance ..checked the next week ...they hadn’t done that ..!!!...they then hurriedly sent a quote in for over $3000.... a view days later I had a handy man looked at it and said it only needed a new gear box ....which I ordered and had put in ....cost $150......
Brilliant – Simply the best to go to for camper van repairs, well priced, great workmanship and, most importantly, a helpful friendly team. All the modifications and repairs we asked for were completed to an excellent standard and in the time-frame promised.
Capricorn the place to go for Caravans and repairs – After an attempt of being ripped off by a dodgey repairer on the south side of town we were sent to Capricorn Caravan Centre to have repairs (water pump) on our Caravan. This was warranty from another Caravan place and they treated us like King & Queen. All I can say is if you have any problems around the Rockhampton area Capricorn Caravan Centre are the ONLY place to go.
