Learn from other's mistakes and this litter box makes life easier – Ok, so I've had this one week. May be a little early for a review as I haven't had to do a full clean but that alone is worth a review. I was hesitant to purchase this because of a number of bad reviews that I read. But I figured if I didn't do what they did I'd be fine. Today I'm thinking I made the right decision. Basically be gentle when putting it together and when turning the handle to sift the good from the bad litter. Don't over fill the tray either. I go through the cleaning process about twice a day (generally while the kittys are eating, yes I have 2 that use it). I haven't fully got rid of my scoop as I still remove any poop from the bottom tray to put it in the nappy bin that I use so that there isn't any nasty smell lingering. I also put bicarb in the bottom tray to eliminate any other stink in between.

Before this litter box I was doing a full clean of the litter tray every 2-3 days. It's now been a week since I set this up and the tray is pretty fresh with regular sifting and top ups. It's a good thing if I'm not spending time cleaning out litter trays!

Throw away your litter scoop – As with everything there are pros and cons. The pros far outweigh the cons with this. We have 2 cats, one of which is rather large. We bought one to try and have been so impressed by it that we have bought a second one. We definitely recommend this for anyone wanting an easier litter system. Pros: Tip and drop used litter into the drawer below Don't have to use the scoop any more. Smells are easily removed by tipping the offending bits into the drawer Big enough for large cats Suitable to take in caravan Stops litter being scratched outside of the box Suitable for use with crystals and no bags

Cons: Cheap litter sticks if bags aren't used Bags meant for use with it are awkward
