Cenovis Iron Plus

I bought these Cenovis Iron plus tablets, in the Woman’s Health range, because i have a Ferratin level of 11, and hover around Anemic. However, after researching the dose 5mg, i see they’re a total con, overpriced, massively undersized. I’d have to take 10 - 20 a day, to get a sensible dose, at 5mg, the recommended 1-2 a day will do absolutely nothing. Show details
I have been told I am anemic so I bought these as they said Iron plus . They have hardly any iron at all . They have 5 mg per tablet I will be switching to a cheaper brand that have 100 mg per tablet . This is so disappointing and in my opinion an absolute rip off . I don’t understand how they are allowed to put Iron Plus on the label . I will… Read more
never ever buy this brand again . For me it’s completely false advertising and I don’t believe this company has consumers best interest in mind , they are just out to make money
Misleading advertising – These tablets are called “Iron Plus” if you look at the ingredients they have a very low dose of Iron compared to most other brands…5mg of iron is zilch compared to other brands..always read the back of the bottle, other reviewers have suggested this works well…I suspect that’s more a placebo effect. Great! When my gp told me I needed more iron, I went straight for these – These are perfect for my needs, and my levels have finally gone up. Very happy about that. I would recommend Cenovis Iron Plus to anyone that is required to take it.
Decent iron supplement – My doctor recommended I take an iron supplement after my blood test results showed low iron levels, while still being within normal range. These pills are affordable & easy to take. I haven't had any problems with constipation which can occur when taking iron supplements. I have felt much better after taking these supplements, I recommend them to anyone who isn't getting enough iron in their diet.
Excellent – When I was pregnant I needed to take an iron supplement (was taking a ultivitamin but still needed more). These were inexpensive, easy to take - 1 a day, and I didn't suffer any side effects that sometimes happen with a iron supplement. Inexpensive, readily available at supermarket
OK – This is a very low priced iron supplement which is great for anyone wanting to add iron into their intake. It is readily found in the supermarkets and in most chemists, so you should be able to find it on sale. Overall, this is an useful product which I have been taking and havent had any side effects. I started taking these because I wanted to… Read more
have a bit more iron in my body and this supplement was easy to take and very inexpensive. I always hear that iron supplements can make you constipated, so I don't take them on a daily basis.
