I took these for my first pregnancy and they were great. Unfortunately this time around I haven't been able to stomach these once I got pregnant. They were awful with my morning sickness and I couldn't take them most days during the first trimester. Now in the second trimester they repeat on me with a gross vitamin B taste. So disappointing as… Read more
they never had this previously. As I subscribed I have quite a few bottles as well so I may have to get rid of them.
Been taking them for a couple of weeks and won’t be continuing! Purchased them from Woolies and then subscripted to them! Was hoping they would get better the more I took them but I am getting the same symptoms every time I take them! Nausea and vomiting as well as a gross burp for the first couple of hours after taking them! I’ve tried taking them with and without food and getting the same result every time! Show details
After getting through half a bottle of their prenatal vitamins I found a bunch of vitamins towards the bottom that were all warped. When I emailed them I kept getting a reply that would say someone would respond within 24 hours, of course It took them a few days to finally reply to me, they did give me a refund which was good but what I find… Read more
alarming is their lack of care, they did not ask for a batch number there was no explanation for how this could of happened, no assurance that they would investigate and look into this. I was also concerned since I had taken half the bottle if it was safe? But there was no reassurance or advice from them personally just a generic email with the number for a poison line which I found more alarming.
I’m currently 12 weeks pregnant and concerned for my baby as I have been taking Kin since before I conceived. I went to the doctor about this and got a blood test, found out that I already have anemia, which I didn’t just a few months ago. The doctor found it a bit odd that I’m already anemic and that my iron levels came back good, she said that it’s likely caused from low folate or b12, I am getting retested for this. I’m quite alarmed to find out I could have low folate after taking kin for months and worry that I haven’t given my baby a good source of folate. I also come to find out that methylated folate is much less shelf stable than folic acid, so it’s concerning that I received a bunch of defective tablets with a likely unstable formula.
Also be aware they only contain 27.5mg per tablet of choline, when I questioned them about this, they didn’t really give me an answer as to why they have such a low amount, when the recommended amount for a pregnant woman is 440-450mg.
I’ve since found another prenatal naternal, they are third party tested, Australian made and contain 275mg of choline per tablet.
I am now wondering if I should report this incident to the TGA due to their lack of responsibility. I’m concerned about the safety of these tablets.

Worth it – This is one of the few times that I was glad I clicked on one of those sponsored social media ads that came up in my feed. I was previously taking another prenatal vitamin (Elevit) and when I looked up some of the reviews for that prenatal, after taking it for a few months, I realised that I was experiencing a number of common side effects (ie:… Read more
nausea, fatigue, very dark stools, lightheaded). So I had a closer look at Kin and liked that the company was in Australia, that it prenatal vitamins are created using bioavailable ingredients and the reviews were, overall, positive. With that in mind, figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try, so ordered a 3-month supply. Needless to say I am so glad I made the switch. The side effects I was experiencing stopped almost immediately and I feel better. Even when I discovered there was a minor issue with my order, they were helpful in resolving it and even where there was a delay in responding to my email, due to high demand, I appreciated the email from Kin informing me that my email had been received and someone would be in touch - which they were within the timeframe advised. Would definitely recommend.
Great product and delivered straight to door – I’ve had no side affects from the prenatal and there is no taste. I will keep now by the subscription as it is reasonable price and delivered straight to my house. Show details
Not enough Choline – A great multivitamin but contains well under the recommended amount of choline for pregnant women. From The National Academy of Medicine: In the early pregnancy phase, spanning up to 12 weeks, the recommended choline intake stands at 450 milligrams per day, and it escalates to 550 milligrams per day during the later stages of pregnancy, after 12… Read more
weeks. Kin only has 186mg in two tablets. Choline has been found to be even more important in neural tube development than folate. If you are taking Kin the Prenatal you should add an additional choline supplement… I hope in the future Kin can add the missing 364mg of Choline.
Worst fishy after burps!! – The new batch (ordered in March 2023) with the brown coloured tablets has the worst fishy burps/repeat. One of the reasons why I loved Kin prenatal was that they never used to give me this fishy after taste with the old style of tablets. Whatever was changed with the new tablets has made them pretty awful!! It’s a shame because I bulk purchased 3 packs. Show details

Trusted Prenatal For Trying to Conceive – I recently had the opportunity to try out Kin Fertility's The Prenatal supplement, and overall, I am quite impressed with its performance. well-being. Here's my experience with Kin Fertility's product: PRO: -Comprehensive Formula: Kin Fertility's The Prenatal contains a well-rounded blend of essential vitamins and minerals necessary for a healthy pregnancy. It includes key nutrients like folic acid, iron, calcium, vitamin D, and omega-3 fatty acids, all of which are crucial for fetal growth and maternal health. -Easy-to-Swallow: The soft gel capsules are relatively small and smooth, making them easy to swallow. This is a significant advantage for pregnant women who may experience difficulty taking larger pills. -High-Quality Ingredients: The supplement boasts high-quality ingredients, and the company claims that they are sustainably sourced. This is important to me as a consumer, as I want to ensure that I'm putting only the best into my body and supporting ethical practices. -No Nausea: Throughout my usage of this product, I did not experience any nausea or stomach discomfort, which can be a common issue with some prenatal supplements. This is a big plus for those with sensitive stomachs during pregnancy.
Kin Fertility's The Prenatal is a reliable and effective prenatal supplement that provides essential nutrients for a healthy pregnancy. It's especially great for those looking for a comprehensive formula and have no issues taking two capsules per day. While the price is a bit higher compared to some competitors, the quality and ease of use make it a worthwhile investment for expectant mothers who prioritize their and their baby's health. I would recommend it to anyone seeking a premium prenatal supplement.
An awesome supplement and even better company! – Kin is the only prenatal supplement I tried during my conception to then pregnancy. I also purchased the male prenatal. Both supplements have been fantastic. I love the slight vanilla flavor of the prenatal and I have never experienced any reflux, indigestion or “fishy-burps” after taking. The express shipping feature is awesome. My delivery is… Read more
always early. Most recently, I placed an order but received the postnatal supplement while 27 weeks pregnant. I checked my order and I had accidentally ordered the 3 month postnatal subscription, rather than the 3 month prenatal refill. I contacted customer support and was astounded by Kin’s quick response and incredible customer service. They were very clear that the postnatal is not sufficient for pregnancy and as they cannot take returns, out of goodwill they are sending me the prenatal refill. What a generous and kind thing for a company to do! Pregnancy can be so expensive with appointments and purchases and this generosity is so appreciated! I was already a loyal Kin customer, but this has just solidified this!
Wanted to love it – Received the first package of my subscription. Everything sounded and looked great until I took a closer look at the ingredients and saw that the prenatal contains sulfites. Personally I am highly sensitive to them but I also know that there is no requirement for sulfites to be in good quality supplements. I now have another prenatal that doesn’t… Read more
contain them and is full of high quality Australian ingredients.
I have been shocked to find that so many Aussie supplements to contain sulfites so it is definitely worth reading the ingredients lost super carefully as it is often written in small print and gets lost within all the ingredients etc.
I would have thought I could have revived my money back as I hadn’t even opened the box but that wasn’t an option due to policy. It has certainly made me read ingredient lists more thoroughly!
Just wonder how a supplement that is designed for womens and babies health at such an important time has to contain these preservatives. To me it says that the kin ethos is not in line with mine and also doesn’t really contain the quality of how the branding comes across.
Sometimes ladies, the packages that don’t look the best actually contain the better more quality ingredients.

Good resolution – I did not tolerate the vitamins well. Kin reached out very quickly after my complaint and resolved it very quickly, which I'm grateful for. Great customer service, a shame the vitamins didn't agree with me! Show details · 1
LOVE Kin Fertility Prenatals – I have been taking kin fertility prenatals for quite a while now, both the old formula and the new formula. I absolutely love them! I've had no side effects whatsoever with either formula, they make me feel great and I know that I'm preparing my body well with everything it needs in a bioavailable form. sweet smell to them that is pleasant when taking them. I get the three months subscription which makes everything so streamlined, and customer service/communication has been fantastic (especially when there was a batch recall, refunds were given and a new batch promptly sent out). I also feel great supporting a local Australian company :)

Love! – Very happy with these vitamins. They have a pleasant smell and are very easy to take. No nasty smell or after taste which was a huge relief. I definitely recommend this product. Baby is due next week and I already have the post natal vitamins ready to go.

Poor experience with new formulation – Took this prenatal for my first pregnancy two years ado and loved them, but started them again recently and the new formulation does not agree with me. Hoped my body would adjust but after a few weeks they’re still repeating on me for a few hours every day. Wish I could buy the old formulation! Show details
New formula = awful burps :( – Like everyone else, I was a huge fan of the old formula. The new formula repeats on me and is awful. I will be cancelling my subscription.
Fishy burps – Long time user, but I’ve also experienced the fishy burps for hours after consuming the red pills. I never had any issues with the previous ones before the “upgrade”. Fairly disappointed as I’ve only got 8 weeks lefts in my pregnancy

So disappointed they changed the formula – I used to love these, no gastrointestinal issues at all until they changed the formula recently. I was excited to receive the "new and improved" restock, but these now make me feel really quite unwell. It's even more disappointing as I bought the 3 bundle pack based on previous experience. New formula is shocking – So disappointed with the formula change with these tablets. I was taking the old white tablets for a year and found them so enjoyable with no side effects. The new red pills are so difficult to digest and they induce nausea and fishy burps. Really disappointed as they’re not cheap and now need to get rid of them. Show details

Terrible now but used to be amazing – This used to be an amazing product before they changed the formula!! The new pills (dark red) give a terrible fishy reflux and really bad constipation. After taking the pills I felt really nauseas and was burping up fishy tastes for 6+ hours. Whatever they changed in the formula has gone really wrong. I had bulk purchased three packs of these and really regret spending the money on a product I can’t use. Show details

Was a great prenatal until recent change – I had previously found this prenatal fantastic (couldn’t fault it) until a recent change in the formula/capsule colour (now dark brown/red). Was good, now terrible! – These used to be great, but they very quietly and sneakily changed the formula and now they make me so sick. They are also disgusting now and make you burb up an awful flavour. Terrible. My morning sickness has returned at 18 weeks, because of these tablets!

Disappointing since change – Loved the previous white capsules but since they changed to brown they are very hard to stomach. Instant nausea, often throwing them up even when taken with food. Very disappointed as they were previously great. Won’t be repurchasing. Show details

Was amazing until they changed – Used to be problem free with these and grateful to have found an alternative to elivit. These WERE the perfect prenatal supplement, but I don’t know what happened – These were incredible at first, I was so impressed and recommended them to everyone. But then eventually I received a bad batch, smelt fishy and gross. I tried to still take them anyway, but… Read more
just couldn’t, so I emailed for a refund or replacement. They sent through a replacement, and it was a bit better, but still fishy and gross. Eventually on the third replacement, they were odourless (sadly no mild vanilla scent) and seemed okay. I took them, but after that they were out of stock for ages and I’ve since had my baby.
It seems from other recent reviews that the fishiness and inconsistency is still a problem. I do hope they fix it soon, though, because these really were the perfect prenatal supplement for about a year before this.

Fishy burps – I’ve used Kin for 6 months. The capsules use to be white coated and I had no side effects from these. But they have recently changed to the dark/brown colour coated capsules, and they definitely give fishy burps! I’ve only taken them for two days and I’m thinking of changing brands.
