Great juicer! – I have had a couple of juicers in my time and this is the best by far! It doesn't have fancy features but it juices and juices well! The motor and casing are robust and the attachments are simple. It may or may not extract as much juice as others but I can bet that the difference is minimal. Whatever you think, the point is whether this or any… Read more

other juicer extracts most of the juice. This one does and judging by the materials and workmanship, will outlive most of its competitors.

Been using it for three years every day, it's terrible – i bought the champion juicer three years ago at the suggestion of the gawler foundation. it replaced a centrifugal juicer i had (panasonic MJ66PR). i bought it because i wanted more enzymes preserved in my juice. i have been on the gerson therapy and so on average i juice at least 2 litres of leafy green, vegetable and fruit juices per day. i can… Read more

tell you, do not waste your money on a champion juicer. firstly, it is very inefficient. i can keep putting the pulp through 4 or 5 times and the pulp is still realtively wet. also, when juicing things like leafy greens and celery, it easily gets clogged up and i have to stop the juicer several times while making a juice to clean off the cutter and hte housing so that the produce pushes through better. also, it always produces alot of foam in my juice. it's terrible. also, after three years, my juicer stopped working, i found out that the oil seal had allowed produce to go through onto the magnetic switch inside the machine and those two things needed replacing, as well i was informed that i should be replacing my cutter every two years, so i also got one of those.

those replacement parts cost me about $110 and i realise that i would be up for that expense approximately every two years that i continue to use the machine. but while i was waiting for the parts, i went back to using my panasonic MJ66PR and i have to say it was such a relief to use (so much easier and more efficient, no foam and a much greater juice extraction rate), that although i now have the champion working again, i am using the panasonic for all my juices. the champion is just too painful and disappointing. i use the champion now only to make frozen banana and mango sorbets. there is a research paper on the internet which tests the enzyme activity etc of the different juicers and it turns out that the champion's performance at preserving enzymes is only average compared to the many other juicers tested. the reduction in enzyme activity obtained by using the panasonic is a small price to pay for the ease of it's use and improved extraction rate compared to the champion.

Product fault – I purchased the Champion juicer on 27/01/2012 based on the reviews of the product. The juicer performs very well for this type of unit, the problem is with the paintwork which has started to come off in a couple of places. The marks look like chips, however the unit is on the bench where it doesn't need to be moved and the area with the paint… Read more

chips is facing away from any direct contact. The unit is only wiped with a damp cloth after each use. When I called the importers to complain, the woman informed me "You have to expect this to happen. It's like a car. What do you want me to do about it?. I would have thought with a unit at this price and being only nine months old, they should have done something. So maybe if your thinking of buying this unit, purchase it from somewhere else. Very efficient. Will juice anything faulty paintwork

Makes the best Fruit Ice Cream but not 100% happy with machine – I compared a VitalMax Oscar 900 and the Champion juicer side by side. The Champion costs approx $100 more and is considerably more heavy and bulky (could be a problem for weak people or someone with back issues). Both machines are easy to assemble. The Champion leeks as a result of its design, which is messy and requires you to annoyingly have to… Read more

clean around the motor shaft, which then has to be re greased with coconut oil or the like. The Champion's cutter is poorly manufactured, with plastic (food grade apparently) burrs left on it, which you need to remove with a sharp object prior to first use. The VitalMax inlet is about half the size of the Champion making it a hassle to put items into it as they have to be cut quite small. The Champion won't break down cocoa nibs, wheres as the VitalMax grinds them up quite well. The big win that the Champion has over the VitalMax is the taste and texture of frozen fruit placed through the machine. It hands down tastes alot yummier (especially frozen bananas) and it was for this reason alone that we decided to go with the Champion. If VitalMax can improve this feature, plus have a larger inlet with their machines, they will put Champion out of business as everything else about their product is better, it costs less and they have a lifetime warranty versus 10 year Champion warranty. Best juicer (best taste/texture) I have used for making ice cream from frozen fruit. Easy to assemble. Leeks (messy), nylon burs left on cutter (poorly made cutter), heavy, expensive

Excellent – I love this juicer. It's a reliable, strong, long lasting machine which is easy to use and makes the most divine creamy frozen fruit ice cream. It was expensive, but in my opinion it was money well spent as it's well built and will last for years. The parts are easy to clean. It is quite large and heavy so make sure you have the space for it.… Read more

I've had a Champion juicer for about 15 years and it's still going strong. Well worth the money I paid for it. Makes beautiful frozen fruit ice cream. The parts are easy to clean and it's very easy to use. Heavy and bulky.
