Cheeky Buds Eco-friendly

Disappointing – I received these earbuds yesterday and the sound quality is atrocious. The $5 newsagent earphones I was using before were roughly on par. The design is nice, but as earbuds they're frankly unusable. I was sold on supporting a small Australian business and their 'eco-friendly' claims, but there's just no quality behind the marketing.
Horrible, last less than a month – I have just purchased this item and less than a week the volume and mic device wiring is out of the socket, then within less than a month the earphones have stopped working! Soooo devastated! I can't believe I wasted my money! Although I have have just brought up the issue to the company I hope they fix this problem and I sincerely hope this… Read more
does not happen again to any consumer buying these products. The reason I bought this product was merely because of the design.
great sound, don't last very long – I bought my first pair in July 2012 and loved them. In February 2013 the jack went, and they replaced with a new pair, which was great. However now in July 2013 one of the earpieces has gone completely, so they don't seem to last for longer than 6 months. Very comfortable, looked great, the sound is very good, and they don't leak sound like the… Read more
apple ipod buds do. I also like they way they look, with the cool wooden buds. Don't last very long. The ones that came with my ipod still work 9 years later (if only they weren't so damn uncomfortable), so I expected a bit more longevity from the Cheeky Buds.
Frickin awesome – The sound is amazing! Just got my pair of cheekies from the website. The bass and the colours, sweet! Colours, bass, sound, style Show reply
Cheeky Buds by far the best headphones – For those who are sick of their iPod or mp3 player headphones breaking and being too expensive to replace - I have discovered a great solution. These guys in Brisbane sell 'Cheeky Buds' from their website - they're environmentally friendly earbuds. They're made from organic starch and wood so they're renewable which is pretty impressive for… Read more
electronic equipment. Also, they've got really good sound quality - completely noise canceling and the cord won't tie in knots.
They're $39.95 so not as expensive as the bigger brands, but these guys are saving the environment.
Highly recommend them! great sound quality, don't break, environmentally friendly and inexpensive!
Surprisingly blew me away!! – I bought these cause originally cause I thought the eco friendly design was a good idea to support. When I received them though was blown away by the sound quality. Even compared with my $149 Sennheiser's, the bass is really good and they seem to fit a little more comfortable. I got the Blue one's too which everyone seems to comment on. Great… Read more
Sound, like the fact they are eco friendly, and love the colour of them mmm originally they didn't fit too well but put in the smaller caps that came with it and they fit really good now.
Something someone should have thought about a long time ago – Great designs and colours which suite their names. Surprisingly amazing sound quality and the double of being environmentally friendly. A great for all ages a, a colour to suite every attitude Colourful, amazing sound quality, inexpensive The only thing is they don't have a microphone, for iphone users Show reply
Loving them – I bought a pair of these earphones after reading the reviews on this site. Really digging them. I got the yellow ones so they stand out a bit at work and love the timber. Sound seems a bit more sharper than my iPhone ones I normally use so pretty stoked. Love the look of them, good price for what you get, love that they are enviro friendly. Is hard to see the Left and Right on the back of the earphones
