Lid exploded – Cooking casserole on slow cook temperate. After approximately 2 Hours the lid exploded. Glass all over the kitchen and dining room. I really like it – I really like mine and use it two or three times a week it does good roasts especially chicken. it has a great deep fryer function and is easy to clean. I have also used it for casseroles and fried rice reheating warming bread dough. The thermostat is a little ambiguous but works well enough i would buy again. I like being able to remove the cooking pan and put it on the bench to to serve from.

Dangerous – Have used mine three times now. The slow cooker is impossible to regulate the heat it cooks way too hot. Then today while slow cooking a roast it started making a fizzing noise and there was liquid coming out through the power outlet. It is very upsetting, the base and power cord have never been in water so there must be some sort of leak. I will have to find my guarantee.

Love Chef Tony cooker – Scrolls, casseroles, roasts are a few things I have made since my sister bought this for me. Easy to clean. Love it.

just stopped working – have used my wonder cooker nearly ever week.did lovely fried fish last night ,,put my chicken into roast today went back to it a couple of hors later and chicken wasn't cooked looks like thermostat has broke and of course the warranty has ran out

Dont buy – First time using it after having it for a few years been away and first opportunity. I agree with other comments only one heat setting took about 6 months to arrive one of the worst things I have even invested in. I am giving up on buying things on line as they sound wonderful but don't turn out that way

Not happy with wonder cooker – I have used this cooker four times now. The main gripe I have is that I cannot regulate the cooking temperature. no temperature control that works

Love it – So easy to use ..food is cooked very fast ..highly recommended.. pan heats up fast with minimal cleaning no need for 2 or 3 pans ..this pan cooks 2 different meals at the same time eg.. chicken and pasta...big heavy lid keeps the juices in..i love every thing about it energy efficient

Love it – It took a while for it to be sent. However I like mine, it cooks lovely fries, corn meat, chicken wings. Haven't used the roast setting as yet. Slow cooker setting is a little too hot so i set it just before it. Love how you can sear then bake. One pot wonder. A little hot on the slow cooker settings.

One temperature – I bought a wonder cooker and there seemed to be only one temperature food cooked on outside but raw on the inside worse thing I ever bought!! Gave it to a friend and she thought the same thing I did thought it wasn't worth the price that I paid also Temperature was the same on all setings

still waiting for mine !!! – ordered one on the 26th april and it is now the 1st of july .. well technically the 2nd july as it now just after midnight as im writing this ... after reading all this i dont think i want my product and demand my money back only after reading how hard it is to get a refund and they then take out $10 for account fees ... im sorry i ever dealt with TVP still waiting on product but they were happy to take money and not return emails or phone calls

EXPLODING WONDER COOKER – Cooked soup. Let it sit on bench for about 4 hours to cool naturally. Suddently there was a huge explosion and the glass lid went all over the kitchen. Left with just the lid handle. I was just thinking of decanting the soup to a container. If I had there could have been serious injury. SO DANGEROUS - and to think I waited almost 4 months for delivery nothing it exploded

Very disappointed!! – I was on holiday in November 2012 and seen the wonder cooker on tv and thought it was a must have, with 2 under 2yo I thought it would've been perfect. so I quickly got on the phone to order, they said it would take up to 6-12 weeks to arrive because it was on high demand. and rang them only to find out the order wasn't right and was saying I ordered the magic bullet, miracle blades and knife block and I asked them to change the order to the cooker.

I rang again today 7th may 2013 and it still hasn't changed and they put in the request to change it. I then decided to look up reviews and after seeing the reviews on this page, I very quickly got back on the phone and asked them to leave the order as it is.

So I would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who added a review and saved me from wasting my money.

Think I'll go buy a slow cooker next week. :)

Too good to be true :(

Fraudulent Advertising – The Wonder Cooker only has a 6 quart capacity and is advertised as 8 quarts. I purchased mine from Best Buy and they are willing to refund based on it being erroneous info. I liked the concept but was really excited about the capacity. Now I don't want to keep it as not sure if other things are wrong too. Only used it once. Not big enough

Poor product – We have just had the opportunity to use this cooker for the first time tonight due to having been "flooded" we never got around to using it when it arrived we put it away to use when we had a chance... wonder cooker well I suppose you could call it that... everything, I wonder who thought of taking us all for a ride for a product that has been obviously been very cheap to produce and sell at a 1000% markup...

and I wonder why I was so stupid to buy it in the first place ... I agree with other comments ... they should have sold the knives and the coooker could have been the booby prize. A more comprehensive recipe and instruction books may have also been beneficial and it only knows how to do two things ... 1. wait forever to cook 2. burn everything...

me its worth keeping your other appliances. The free knives. Its very lite, cheap feeling, only one temp very hot.

Wonder cooker – I have one all it is basically, is an electric frying pan. no different. and it is made in china.they dont tell you that. allso it is to big for a single person. an electric frying pan is about 35 dollars in k mart.it is exactly the same as electric frying pan To big. for a singlr person

the way i want it to cook,.. BUT the best part was so easy to clean, just took food from pot, rinsed it under tap and into dishwasher, came out like just like new.... no pots to clean yippee.!. No cleaning So far works well now i got replacement

Wonder cooker – Took many months to get my cooker and when I did it didn't work at all. I bought the cooker as a gift for my daughter and she didn't open the cooker to use it for a while as she was moving house and because I have had it for 8 weeks I can not get my money back, All the reviews I have read have been bad. I suggest you don't bother it's a bucket of rubbish It doesn't work.

bucks with no change and get one. So...I rang the number..they got my details..pushed me up to 2 cookers on special but only one had the free knives. I ordered 2 lots but then realized I would only get one set of free knives so worked out that 2 separate deals would be better. I cancelled the two deal and went for one. This was in December 2011. Of course January went and nuthin happened so I rang them..got some Indian person who blabbered some [censored word removed] and I expected an email response for my order..nuthin happened. In the mean time they took160 odd bucks from my account. So February came and i rang again..got another indian somebody that blabbered and promised an email response and got nuthin. Rang again and they said the order was despatched for all backorders IN FEB 22. It's now march 13 and no turnup of the Wonder where it is Cooker and still no response. In the middle of all this I emailed for my money back..no response..they pinged me for 2 cookers on my master card and still no Wonder where it is or what it is Cooker. Now the only people that do that to their customers are normally banks and Insurance companies..go figure. If my Wonder where it is and what it does Toe Knee Wonder Cooker ever turns up..I will only be interested in how long it lasts because I will bow the knee to Toe Knee and biff it into the dam with the yellow belly, blue claws and the ducks..amen Haven't got it yet..not impressed Didn't turn up

Wonder Cooker – I purchased this product on the 11th March 2012. I was told up to 28 days delivery. I have made several phone calls, which I keep getting told it will arrive shortly. The company does not bother answering their emails so don't even bother. It has now been 3 months and I still have not recieved it. Rang again and was told they will ring me but I hightly doubt it. I would not recommend ordering this product through TV Direct

Wonder Cooker Complaint – I waited 3 months to get my wonder cooker and when i did a slow cooker meal in it it was more like a fast cooker when I got home from work it was burnt on the bottom and there was no juice left and it tasted disgusting so had to be thrown out. I am very disappointed. Expensive, slow cooker not good.
