I brought an upgrade to premium economy on the way from Melbourne to Guangzhou was fine on the way back they sold the seats we had pre purchased to someone else and never reimbursed me after I emailed them. Quite frankly I will never use this airline ever again.

I do not recommend at all. They denied us on boarding. They said we should have a visa for a 3 hour stop in China, although we were traveling from Tehran to Melbourne and we did not aim to visit China at all! There was no information on the website and embassy website and they did not send us information! How on earth we should know this! So please find another airline for your piece of mind!

Which doesn't have sense because the width and height of the dogs crates is always similar. I couldn't find a crate under this specifications (and my dog is a medium sized). What should I do? I'll be flying Sydney - Guangzhou - Urumqi with CZ. I will have a few hours layover in Guangzhou and want to organize a paid upgrade to business class for Guangzhou - Urumqi leg. Does anyone know which service desk/office at the Guangzhou airport can do that for me?
Yes they are service desk in GZ as this is they hub. You also can flight economy from Sydney to GZ and business class from GZ to Urumqi. However I believed that you must arrange before your flight start from Sydney and this is to be safe as you may do not have enough time to do it while you in GZ as most flights are booked well in advance. Hope this help
Thanks Thai. I have already used points to upgrade SYD - CAN leg. Not enough points to cover the next leg and so I will try to pay for it at CAN airport. I guess if not luck at their service desk, I can try inside the plane after boarding.
