Very good value – I purchased this brand washer nearly 12 months ago on back of having purchased a Chiq TV the best part of 5 years ago and still today in perfect working order and great picture quality. In 12 months machine has been faultless and best of all has proven to be less of a mover n shaker than the preceding LG n Samsung washers it replaced. I definitely put the quietness and smooth operation even on spin cycle at 1400 down to the 4 stabilizers. Very decent machine for the price point. Hope this review helps
Edit/Update : After just over 2 years of service the machine has developed a issue. On the spin cycle it would now appear it has a drum bearing failing. I have since called Chiq and was asked over the phone to email them a copy of purchase receipt, personal details and short detail on the issue with machine. Was told somebody would get back to me so i await patiently for that to happen. Will keep updating this review to assist others when deciding if purchasing this brand or not is for them especially if the warranty is at front of mind of there decision.
Update re warranty. A lady from Chiq was very helpful in regards to my warranty issue and seen to it everything was managed in a very efficient manner. Thank you very much L****e i apprecaite all your assistance.

Noisy and cheap – Very noisy. Gurgles the whole time it's draining. Drains a bit at a time, so it's gurgling for ages. Very disruptive and annoying. Definitely not 8.5kg capacity. Very small drum. Spin is not very quiet or stable for a brand new machine. Makes me think it won't last long.

Doesn't hold the stated capacity – If you are looking for a washing machine to fit under your laundry bench this is fine. Washes the clothes and does a good job. If you are looking for a washing machine to wash 8.5 kg of laundry at a time this is not the machine for you. Will hold MAYBE 5kg. Plenty of cycle choices, easy to use, good power and water stats.
