Chubb Home & Contents Insurance

Absolutely terrible company Chubb, after having my unit absolute pulled apart from mold because the unit above had a fire and then flooded by the fire brigade and Chubb building Body Corp insurance didn't investigate it properly, my ceiling carpet blinds (and heaps more) throughout went moldy, the unit was nearly gutted after having to evict the long-term tenants. They want me to pay a bill from when I couldn't gain excess, and I believe the builder left the window open. Chubb will not reimburse my loss of rent from the end of Aug 2025 as both believe the unit can still be rented with no carpet or blinds. Chubb still owe money from July till August and will not pay me until the units been rented. I now have a unit that's not completed and diffidently not as it was before! I have lost so much money as the body Corp, rates and mortgage haven't stopped. Either Allianz or Chubb have helped at all, when it in no way was our fault. This was Chubbs Fault 100% and would never deal with this company again

Don't insure with Chubb Insurance – They refused to accept claim on the contents policy which I had them for 5 years. Their customer service is pathetic and lack of clarity. Avoid them at all costs.
