Chux Dishwand No-Scratch Refills

Used to work well but have started to fall apart within days. Scourer detaches from the sponge rapidly. I feel this is intentional senescence to make people buy more of the refills. Disgraceful. Will not longer be using them. Show details
Detergent just pours straight out from bottom – I've been purchasing these for ages but over the past few months I'm finding the detergent is pouring out from the bottom within 10 minutes. I had stocked up with these and they are all the same Show details
Terrible quality – We have always purchased these as they used to last for ages, but the last few times we've bought them they have fallen apart within the first week of use. The material for the blue sponge must have changed, along with the adhesive as both are useless now. Will not be buying them again. Show details
They fall apart, dont buy – These things are a waste of money. I have bought them a couple of time and always fall apart after just a couple of uses. Don't waste your money. Rubbish product. Show details
Cant get it to release detergent, doesnt work! – Filled the handle, fitted the sponge foot, tried to use - no detergent coming out. Looked for holes in handle face with a fine pin, nothing. Called the freecall no , get 'nobody to take your call'. Emailed the address on the web page, no answer. Complete rubbish. Show details
Junk Product , terrible follow up service from Manufacturer – When we first saw the Chux dish wand product on the shelf at the supermarket we gave it a go as Chux has always been a great product. We bought a dish wand (with one sponge) and two packs of refills. The first sponge was OK, but when it came time to change the sponge to a refill it didn't get through my breakfast dishes before the sponge came… Read more
away from the plastic base. Bad luck I thought. The same thing happened to the next 5 sponges.
It was apparent that the adhesive used to glue the sponge to the plastic base was not suitable for the task, the adhesive bonded well to the sponge and not at all to the plastic base. I took plenty of photos and sent along with a report to Chux and have been promised someone will contact me (after asking for my email, phone and postal address) but despit several follow ups I am yet to hear anything.
From reading the Chux Facebook page it appears that there is a bad batch (code MH18159) that are all faulty. I learnt more about the issue from customer complaints posted on there than from the manufacturer!
I'm sure that this is an easy to fix manufacturing fault, but Chux's customer service and attitude to assisting customers who have kindly reported a fault with their product will take a bit more effort. It appears that Australian favorite Chux are now apart of an American group (Clorox) and that the product and service sadly no longer what it once was.
