secondly my building apartment has a security door to get into the building. 9 days ago I emailed my real estate for a replacement key as the one I had was jamming and not working. Even though this should be classified as an emergency as I have no access into my building! I’m having to rely on either leaving the door slightly ajar and hoping no one closes it or disturbing other tenants by buzzing them and asking for them to buzz me in. (On one occasion I got completely locked out and had to have my partner climb the tree in the front garden and hop over my balcony) I am still waiting for strata to organise a replacement key. I cannot believe people pay these people to take care of the needs for this building. They are beyond useless and unreliable.
Bad service – They did tricky things with money, the cleaning fee for 30 units building without pool gym costs more than 20K yearly. [name removed] our property manager is causing disaster. it is horrible and crap
Be wary of them – Just watch your back with this lot and always ask them plenty of questions as they will not provide any advice freely. You need to micromanage them if you want to avoid paying fees out of nowhere. It is a ridiculous way to do business, but they seem not to understand anything else.

I note that the negative reviews listed here likely come from unit owners who have been asked to do what is required and under the obligations of strata laws. A good manager isn't there to make friends, they are employed to ensure that management is conducted as professionally as possible.. sometimes more difficult unit owners get upset as a result and they feel obliged to write nasty things online.
Avoid at all costs – Stay away from this company. Appalling high fees and customer service. They outsource to a Collection agency from Hobart to send 44 dollar late fees . They are being paid to provide a service, and yet think they can issue arrears notices and crippling interest when strata rates are paid in advance.
Not happy with their service – With the rise of rates, land tax and water, expensive strata management fees are the last thing you need. My advice is to look at the costs carefully. They are being paid to provide a service yet some Canberra strata managers think they now own your property. Avoid. Otherwise it'll cost you – Criminals. They firstly charge way higher than a standard rate. And they issued me an arrears notice (first notice) charging $44 fee (for sending the letter) and $12 interest. They are being paid to provide a service, and yet think they can issue arrears notices and interest when strata rates are actually paid in advance.
Soo judgemental – I received a levy notice with a late payment fees of $55. I was very surprised as I have never missed a payment. I called property management City Strata. advised when levies are due. He also told me that it would be better if my real estate agent was responsible for all my payments. I found his comments very patronising and judgmental. City Strata advertise themselves as bring new levels of professionalism, accountability and value for money. Certainly there is no accountability, he told me that notice was send to me. He hasn’t provided the date when it was done. There was no professionalism but amateurist approach to customer service. And lastly no value for money as since City Strata took the management of the complex from Independent levies have increased considerably. I do not recommend this property management, stay away from them.
