Our system was installed 4 yrs 9months ago by cleanpower aus , recently had and still have an ongoing issue with the WiFi dongle not communicating with mobile app , contacted cleanpower , they were the company who were paid for the install , I was sent an email explaining how to reconnect to WiFi but the email actually referred to a newer model .… Read more

Explained again via email the situation but to date have not recieved any more correspondence from cleanpower aus . They were paid for install and as far as I'm concerned they are responsible . I've been in contact with supplier of inverter to which the dongle attaches , a little frustrating but at least they're trying to help

If I could give a zero star review I would. There have been countless issues that have just accumulated and I have never dealt with a company that is as dodgy and unprofessional as this. To list all the issues out in dot point form otherwise I could rant on for ages: - Communication has been abysmal since signing our proposal. I was assigned a… Read more

project manger that was actually pointless and useless as she was uncontactable and did not respond to emails.

- I had to call numerous times where their customer service representatives just constantly say I'll note it down and never get back to you. I've had to follow up and call up multiple times as a result.

- When you ask to escalate to a manager they are "never in the office". I believe this to be utterly nonsense. I have worked in a call centre before and there is always an escalation process it just seems like they are stalling.

- Their bookings and installation team are pathetic and never get back to you with installation dates.

- The contractor did not arrive on the correct installation date meaning I took a day off work for no reason. Meaning I had to take unplanned leave for the following day at my financial expense.

- When the contractor arrived IT WAS ONLY THEN I found out that they swapped out my panels and did not notify me before hand. They said that the ones I wanted were discontinued but there was no consultation about what panels I wanted to replace them.

- When it was identified that the panels were wrong the contractor called his contact in the company who told him to pull everything down and leave holes in my roof. If the contractor had done so this would have mean't my roof would not have been water tight and damaged! Luckily he helped me out to sort out alternative panels, if only the rest of the people in the organisation were as willing to assist their customers.

- We found alternative panels but the company has STILL not contacted me to confirm a installation date in writing (I imagine with all the dramas they do not want to be liable for any more mistakes).

- Overall we have agreed on a $900 refund which is still yet to arrive in my bank account. I have tried to escalate and they have come back with the usual I'll send a message on.

Long story short, my panels have still not been installed, my battery has not been linked up as a result, I still don't have my refund or a confirmed re-installation date.

This company is awful. DO NOT USE. They clearly are just want to take your money with no regard to customer service and professionalism.

We had our solar and battery install completed in NSW in Nov 2026. The install neatness and quality was great. But after install I was supposed to onboarded to a VPP within a few weeks. Shinehub, Powow or some crap like that, I'm still waiting, now almost April 2026. Zero help, zero aftersales. [Name Removed] has tried her best and been the only… Read more

one with any interest. Weeks between any query and answer and as yet nothing sent regarding logins or info needed to use the VPP. The whole sales pitch was based on a VPP and the rebates from that covering the electricity bill shortfalls from the system, so now I have an install repayment and an electricity bill because they're incapable of putting their installed system on the VPP they based their whole sales pitch on. DO NOT RECCOMEND IN ANY WAY. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY.

William came to our door and explained enough for him to send a contract representative. Both My Wife and Myself were so impressed with their presentation and full explanation of all products. "You'll never receive another electricity bill"...what rubbish. We installed a 15kwh battery system as we live in an area of occasion blackouts with a view to having power during a blackout. First time the power went down so did the batteries. When I checked the system had not been installed to supply power during blackout, even though we paid… Read more

for it. The system was updated and then we were told "Oh, the batteries will only do a portion of the house electrics, some power points and a few lights", nothing we could do about that. The electricity bills kept coming in so we thought what about an upgrade on the inverter and another battery, SORRY that system can't upgrade the inverter so "What about a couple of extra batteries?", and we will need to install another 9 solar panels so it will work, (for only 12K after Govt. subsidy) but that still will not run the whole house during blackouts, sorry about that. The whole hard sell by the initial representative was so close to being a load of rubbish it wasn't funny. If you're thinking about installing a solar system think elsewhere.

Refund took ages / hard sell made us uncomfortable – Very disappointing customer service. After the "hard sell" by the sales rep - "if you sign up today, we'll give you an extra .... yadda yadda", trust me did not want to leave. After discussion we decided to cancel within our 10 day "grace period". Getting our deposit back was like getting blood out of a stone. 4 WEEKS later (after cancellation in… Read more

writing) ... after basically getting attitude from their customer service, we finally got our deposit back. A refund should never take that long. Can only imaging if we went through with it, what installation scheduling would be like. Beware.

Poor customer service – Our meter board had to be upgraded which left us with problems with our wiring in our home. Paul the electrician has terrible customer service does not care that we have had no lights in our home for over a week. We have to get an electrician in to sort out our wiring, if I had known there was going to be an additional expense I would have delayed installation.
