Best Product I Have Ever Used On My Skin !!!!!! – In my experience of using Clearasil, I have noticed that my pimple, oily skin, blackheads have disappeared after about 3 - 4 washes. I found that the product was very strong from my acne and I loved it. I felt like myself again. I love the fact that online shipping 25 dollars off. Now that's a bargain. I would definitely recommend this product to people that have struggled with acne. Show details
It works – Bought for my son who had quite congested skin, especially around the hairline. Used it twice a day as per the directions on the label in conjunction with the Clearasil gel cleanser and pimple cream. His skin was much improved after only a couple of weeks and then suddenly flared up again, with new breakouts and just generally looking red and… Read more
angry and quite possibly the worst it had ever looked. My initial reaction was to stop using the scrub entirely and perhaps even bin the entire Clearasil range, but my son didn't want to because of the rapid improvement he had experienced before this, compared to other products we had been using for several months with only limited success.
So we dropped back to using the scrub once a day only but still cleansed and used the pimple cream twice a day but also introduced the Clearasil exfoliating pads to alternate with ie using them instead of the scrub for the second cleanse of the day. His skin took another week or so to calm down but when it did it continued to improve. His acne is now only very mild and he has no new breakouts provided he is consistent with this routine. The scrub really helps with the blocked pores he gets around his hairline but twice a day was too harsh for his skin. Overall we are very impressed with the the Clearasil suite of products after having tried a couple of other pharmacy brands with only limited success.
Doesn't work – I used this product because I have pimples and I break out a lot but sad to say it didn't do much, it was useless, and a waste of money. I was very disappointed.
Changed the Formula – I have been using this scrub for years as it was the grittiest and really exfoliated my face. In recent weeks I've bought 2 of these to find that it is no longer as gritty and doesn't feel like it exfoliates as well. Seems that the product has been changed and not for the better in my opinion. I will need to search out another product as I'm no longer satisfied with this.
It works – I had pretty bad acne. The kind where it came in clusters and my face would just start weeping in the middle of grocery shopping or something. Embarrassing stuff. I've tried many different scrubs and washes from other brands like Neutrogena, Nivea etc. The Clearasil Ultra range is the only range that has worked for me so far. I use this once… Read more
or twice a week and the 5in1 Wash every other day and always follow up with the Rapid Action Pimple Cream (if I have the odd pimple) and some DermaOil. I still get a breakout here and there but only because I get lazy with routines. My face has become so much clearer from this product and I'm able to go out and not be fearful of weeping pimples.
Now I have seen people complaining about the "dryness" of it. This product contains salicylic acid which is what makes it "deep cleaning." If you don't know, this acid strips away the outermost layer of your skin, opens your pores and neutralises the bacteria. So of course it is going to feel dry. Common sense says use a facial oil afterwards.
So, I highly recommend this product and the Ultra range in general if you suffer from acne. It works for me.
Still Unsure – I find it very hit and miss in my opinion. Sometimes it works really well and leaves my skin clear for weeks especially those weeks leading up to and during my period but other times it won't do anything and will leave my skin dry!
Not good – Made my skin worse...stopped using it..seemed ok at first but the next day I had more pimples. Kept on it for over a week..but same results.i will try another product
I broke out – My boyfriend gets terrible pimples so I got this for him, i do not get pimples, we both did it and the next morning we have both broken out terribly. I'll stick to my scrubs, I'm very annoyed
Just fine – Not so much amazed by this product. The beads are quite big. I also did not see changes in my blemishes as claimed. I think St. Ive's apricot scrub is better.
OK – I thought this was good for using every now and then on the face but you need to be careful because it can be quite harsh. The exfoliating beads are quite big and rough. It's best to alternate it with something else, or only use it when you are desperate. However, I thought it was a great cleanser for back acne since the back is hard to reach and… Read more
exfoliate properly. Very good at cleaning skin. Great for back acne. A bit rough on the skin, and should be used with an alternate cleanser to avoid over stripping the skin and causing additional problems.
Bad – Avoid, avoid, avoid, there are much better scrubs on the market and this one doesn't just clean your pores, it saps out any healthy skin oils in the process! Never again! Easy to find in any supermarket, does help with small blemishes and probably with more serious ones too, the price isn't too bad. TERRIBLE on the skin. I have no idea what is in… Read more
this stuff, but it leaves the skin, like many clearasil products, dried out and flaking. I have sensitive skin and have tried several of their products, and they all dry it out and irritate it.
OK – It's an effective product at cleaning your skin, but perhaps it was a bit too strong for me. When you start to apply on your face, the exfoliating sensation feels like you rubbing little grains of sand all over your face. It really does feel like you care giving your skin a deep clean and after you rinse it off, your skin does feel fresher. … Read more
However, it did leave my skin a little red and irritated, so perhaps its formula isn't suitable for people who have sensitive skin. It is a good product though, so if you don't have sensitive skin, it might be worth trying. It really feels like you are giving your skin a deep clean Left my skin a bit irritated
Terrible – Will NOT buy this product ever again. I do not have sensitive skin and usually I can use any makeup and any brand of face wash without any reactions, but this product is different. Not recommended. It cleans my skin I am sitting here with two swollen eyes. Had a really bad reaction to it and have not been sleeping for the past few nights as the pain is unbearable
OK – Not a bad product, although not one of the most effective facial washes on the market. I have heard of some people having funny reactions with it, so it's probably best not to use it on sensitive skin. It does help clean pores, reduce black heads and improve acne though. Does help clear up spotty skin. After a while. Nice exfoliation without… Read more
feeling like you have been rubbing your face with sandpaper. Doesn't foam a lot, doesn't make face feel really clean. Might have had some deep pore scrubbing qualities, but I can't say I've noticed them.
